Broadcasters loved reminding viewers that Sunday was National Tight Ends Day, and for good reason. Tight ends absolutely feasted, scoring 15 touchdowns on the afternoon.

It turned out to be incredibly profitable for those who placed wagers on tight ends, especially in the anytime touchdown market.

National Tight Ends Day Parlays

It was a parlay-bettor's paradise, giving them a reason to put tight ends together for some big wins. Betting social media was flush with winning parlays at big odds for Sunday Week 8.

2024 National Tight Ends Day: Every TE To Score a Touchdown

Here’s a look at how profitable each tight end who found paydirt proved to be, according to DraftKings.

Atlanta Falcons Kyle Pitts (Anytime TD +200)

Pitts found paydirt twice in Atlanta’s win over Tampa Bay, providing a sweet +1700 payday for backers who bet two-plus TDs. Pitts caught four passes for 81 yards, including a long of 49. He hit the over on all of them as the lines were set at 3.5 receptions, 42.5 receiving yards and 18.5 longest catch.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cade Otton (Anytime TD +160)

Pitts wasn’t the only tight end to score a pair of touchdowns in the Falcons' win over the Buccaneers, as Otton did as well. He was +1200 to score at least two touchdowns. Otton cashed the overs on catches (4.5), receiving yards (46.5) and longest catch (18.5) as he finished the day hauling in nine passes for 81 yards with a long of 29.

Baltimore Ravens Mark Andrews (Anytime TD +255)

Andrews scored a touchdown for the third-straight game after a dismal start to the season. He ended the day with five catches for 36 yards with a long of 11. He cashed the over on receptions (2.5) but failed to do so on yards (36.5) and longest catch (16.5).

Cleveland Browns David Njoku (Anytime TD +350)

The Browns’ offense looked completely different, with Jameis Winston at the helm, and David Njoku was one of several benefactors in the passing game. He scored his second touchdown of the year while catching five passes for 61 yards with a long of 23. He failed to go over his line for receptions (5.5) but did for yards (56.5) and longest catch (19.5).

Green Bay Packers Tucker Kraft (Anytime TD +215)

Kraft scored his fifth touchdown of the season, but it was unexpectedly from Malik Willis as Jordan Love left with a groin injury. Kraft caught three passes for 78 yards with a long of 67 yards. He fell just short of his line for catches (3.5) but hit the over on yards (35.5) and longest catch (16.5).

Jacksonville Jaguars Evan Engram (Anytime TD +275)

Engram also hauled in a touchdown in the game vs. the Packers. His came with 1:58 left to tie it up, but it wasn’t enough as Green Bay kicked a field goal with no time left on the clock to pull out the win.

Engram finished the day with four receptions for 36 yards with a long of 14. However, while he did score the anytime TD, he went under on his other props as catches were 5.5, yards 49.5 and longest catch 17.5.

Detroit Lions Sam LaPorta (Anytime TD +175)

LaPorta was one of several Lions to feast as Detroit dropped 52 points on the Titans. He led the team with six catches for 48 yards with a long of 24, cashing each prop as receptions were 3.5, yards 34.5 and longest catch 16.5

Detroit Lions Brock Wright (Anytime TD +550)

LaPorta wasn’t the only Lions tight end to get in on the action as backup Wright found paydirt, too. He was lightly used coming into the game, catching just seven passes for 49 yards. Wright’s anytime touchdown was his only prop offered on the day.

New York Jets Tyler Conklin (Anytime TD +375)

Conklin found the end zone for his second touchdown of the year in New York’s latest loss. He finished with three catches for 42 yards with a long of 27, cashing each as the line on catches was 2.5, yards 23.5 and longest catch 13.5.

Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce (Anytime TD +115)

The future Hall-of-Famer scored his first touchdown of the year on a five-yard pass in the second quarter. He caught 10 passes for 90 yards with a long of 25 as Kansas City remained undefeated. He cashed all his overs in the process as his total for catches was 4.5, yards 56.5 and longest catch 19.5

Buffalo Bills Dalton Kincaid (Anytime TD +235)

Kincaid scored just his second touchdown on the year in the Bills blowout of the Seahawks. He’s been a solid contributor all year, though, and was once again as he caught four passes for 31 yards with a long of 12. However, receiving yards was the only prop that hit the over. His totals going into the game were 4.5 catches, 32.5 receiving yards and 17.5 longest catch.

Denver Broncos Adam Trautman (Anytime TD +750)

Trautman entered the game with just two receptions for 32 yards. However, he went off on Sunday, catching four passes for 84 yards with a long of 37. An anytime touchdown was the only prop books offered for Denver's game against the Panthers.

Denver Broncos Nate Adkins (Anytime TD +1200)

Adkins was another tight end who found the end zone for Denver. he had just four catches for 19 yards on the year, so his three-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter was perhaps the most surprising TD of the day. Adkins’ anytime touchdown was his only prop offered on the day.
