Trevor Lawrence
ATD +390 (DraftKings)
After rushing for two touchdowns in his rookie season, Lawrence has been more of a scoring threat in his sophomore campaign. He has five rushing touchdowns on the season, including one in Tennessee in Week 14.
The Titans defense has been rock solid against the run. They’ve only allowed nine rushing touchdowns, but notably, three have been to quarterbacks.
Entering Week 18, Lawrence has totaled 14 red-zone carries. I expect him to get at least a few attempts in this one.
Outside of Zay Jones, there’s no other Jaguar worth betting in this matchup.
Joshua Dobbs
ATD +650 (bet365)
Dobbs ran a ton back in his college days at the University of Tennessee. In his final two seasons there, he racked up 23 rushing touchdowns. He showed flashes of this against the Cowboys, but had a long run negated by a penalty.
Jacksonville’s defense has improved as the season has gone along, but not enough to fades Titans rushers. The Jaguars have allowed 14 rushing touchdowns, with three going to quarterbacks.
Of course, Derrick Henry has crushed against the Jags, with six touchdowns in his last three trips to Jacksonville. It’s possible the Jags will be so concerned with Henry that the Titans use him as a decoy, which could allow opportunities for Dobbs to find the end zone.
