The Tom Brady drama just won't end … surprised?

Wednesday's update brings with it a long awaited discussion between Brady and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. The two reportedly spoke on the phone Tuesday, and the conversation apparently "didn't go well."

For Patriots fans, that's not exactly the most thrilling news. For bettors, though, it makes things a bit interesting.

The oddsmakers as FanDuel have been offering odds on Brady's next team for some time now, and while the Patriots are still fairly significant favorites to bring back the 42-year-old, one team has been slowly inching up the odds board all offseason, and is now inside the 3-1 mark.

Check out the updated odds below.

At -175, the Pats are actually more heavily favored than they were last week (-125), but the Titans, who were +380, are closing the gap as they now sit at just +250.

As for the other two teams most connected with the Brady race, the Chargers essentially stayed put (+650 to +600) while the Raiders saw a slight drop (+500 to +750).

As for the biggest riser further down the list, that would be the San Francisco 49ers. The Super Bowl runners-up were down at +3400 last week, only to shoot up to +1500 as of Wednesday afternoon.

But while Brady will steal the spotlight of the offseason free agency period, he's not the only veteran quarterback in need of a Week 1 destination.

Philip Rivers Next Team Betting Odds

  • Indianapolis Colts -160
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers +300
  • Las Vegas Raiders +750
  • No Team/Retired +900
  • Tennessee Titans +1600

  • Miami Dolphins +1900
  • Washington Redskins: +2300
  • Carolina Panthers +3400

A similar list of teams surrounds Rivers, though they come in a different order.

Oddsmakers feel pretty good about his chances to land in Indy, as the Colts are given -160 odds (61.5% implied) to sign him. Only the Bucs (+300) and Raiders (+750) are also within the 10-1 range, and his +900 odds to retire imply a 10% probability.
