Jalen Hurts has completely taken over the MVP race.
After the Eagles pulled off another miraculous win over the Bills this past weekend, Hurts has grown his lead as the MVP favorite.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was the favorite going into the week at +250 odds at BetMGM. After the win, Hurts is now +140 to win MVP at BetMGM.
Kansas City's Patrick Mahomes is the next closest to Hurts at +350 odds.
Hurts is not dominating in any passing statistic. In fact, he's right around 10th in passing yards, completion percentage and passing touchdowns.
But he is leading NFL quarterbacks in rushing touchdowns with 11. And he's second among quarterbacks in rushing yards behind Lamar Jackson.
Jackson is behind Mahomes and Hurts in odds at +500 on BetMGM.
Mahomes has not had a great season by his standards. He is currently eighth in the NFL in passing yards and has thrown 21 touchdowns to nine interceptions.
Sam Howell leads the NFL in passing yards. Second behind Howell is rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud. The Houston quarterback has been climbing the odds boards for the MVP award. He is currently +1800 at BetMGM.
