The NFL MVP race has featured tons of fluctuation throughout the season.
One week ago, Jalen Hurts had a significant lead as the favorite to win the Most Valuable Player award.
Hurts had +140 odds to win the MVP, but after losing to the 49ers this past weekend, the Eagles quarterback is now +350 at BetMGM.
Brock Purdy is now a cofavorite with Hurts after dismantling the Eagles this past weekend. The 49ers quarterback threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-19 win on the road.
Purdy has the highest completion rate, the highest yards per completion and the highest quarterback rating in the NFL after 13 weeks.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott also made a massive leap into the MVP conversation after this past week. Prescott is also +350 at BetMGM. He leads the NFL in touchdown passes and is right behind Purdy in quarterback rating.
Prescott and Hurts will face each other this week on Sunday Night Football.
Hurts is not dominating in any passing statistic. In fact, he's right around 10th in passing yards, completion percentage and passing touchdowns.
However, he leads NFL quarterbacks in rushing touchdowns with 11 and is second among quarterbacks in rushing yards behind Lamar Jackson.
