Heading into Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has vaulted to the top of the MVP odds board at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Wilson, who was listed at 7-1 in late June, now sits at +175 (this means a $100 bet at current odds would win $175 should he ultimately win MVP).
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is right on Wilson's heels at +250 following his monster performance against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football.
Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers (7-1) is the only other player listed with single-digit odds to win NFL MVP.
With three weeks in the books, Wilson is fourth in the league in passing yards (925), while leading all signal-callers in passing touchdowns (14) with just one interception.
And almost just as important as individual stats … Seattle is winning. With wins against the Falcons, Patriots and Cowboys, the 'Hawks are atop the NFC West at 3-0.
Considering the Seahawks will face the Dolphins, who rank dead-last in Football Outsiders' DVOA metric, in a game with an over/under of 54.5 in Week 4, there is a good chance Wilson will pad his already healthy passing stats on Sunday afternoon.
