The Washington Commanders (2-1) and Arizona Cardinals (1-2) will kick off NFL Week 4's Sunday late afternoon slate. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. ET from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. The game will be broadcast live on FOX and can be streamed on platforms like YouTube TV.
The Cardinals are consensus 3.5-point favorites, with the over/under currently set at 48.5, which is down 2 points from earlier today but is still the highest of the week in the NFL. The Cardinals are -175 favorites on the moneyline, with the Commanders +150 to pull off the road upset.
Jayden Daniels enters this game after a star-making performance last Monday night, when he threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 39 yards and a score. He’s averaging 8.7 yards per attempt this season and has won two straight. Kyler Murray was slowed down a little bit by the Lions in a loss last week, although his connection with Marvin Harrison Jr. remained strong.

Commanders vs. Cardinals NFL Week 4 Preview
I don’t get why there are so many professionals on the Commanders. It just feels like an obvious trap coming off a huge win with the line having moved so much.
I get it, Jayden Daniels looked amazing. We’ve rarely seen anything like what he did last Monday night against the Bengals. It was a star-making performance.
The previous week against the Giants, Daniels and the Commanders moved the ball well but couldn’t get into the end zone. It’s not going to be like it was against Cincinnati every week for a rookie in this league. You have to ride with this kid through both extremes if you’re going to.
On the other side, I know what I’m going to get from the Cardinals. I think they’re built to beat this Commanders team like the Buccaneers were in Week 1. Both teams have playmakers on the outside and can control the time of possession with a defense that can get stops.
I feel like I’m missing something with this game, and I don’t know what it is. The hype on Daniels is getting out of control. I see people claiming it’s like Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud between him and Caleb Williams, but that’s not the case and we’re only three weeks into the season. Also, Daniels has much more experience from his college career than Williams. It makes sense he would adjust to the NFL more quickly.
I get the hesitation in betting against Daniels based on what we saw last week, I really do. But I think the Cardinals are a playoff team and should comfortably handle a team like the Commanders.
Arizona has hung around with the elite competition (Bills and Lions) it has faced this season and blown out the mediocre team it faced (Rams). Let’s bet on the Cardinals to do that again.
Pick: Cardinals -3.5
