"Streaming" quarterbacks, defenses and kickers has been a fantasy football strategy I've successfully used for years.
I've parlayed that success into a series of weekly recommendations of the top streaming options at those three positions as well as tight end — a position I don't recommend streaming week-to-week — which can be of assistance in a pinch.
The concept behind streaming is that you add someone for a given week based on the matchup, rather than putting the emphasis behind a player's long-term projection.
Note that these players are rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues, but that these recommendations do not mean that they are the best streamer play for your league — be sure to check my up-to-the-minute rankings to see who the best available player is in your league.
Read on for my Week 10 streaming analysis.
Giants QB Daniel Jones vs. HOU (41% rostered)
Jones opens the week as my QB10 and my top streaming option. He may not have to throw much against the Texans, but Jones may tap into his rushing upside a bit more here as the Texans rank 32nd in DVOA against the run.
The Giants also have an implied team total of 23, which would be their third-highest scoring output of the season. The touchdown potential for Jones and the entire Giants offense is higher than usual this week.
Broncos TE Greg Dulcich @ TEN (37%)
It’s truly bizarre to see Dulcich available in so many leagues. I’m not sure that there’s much left to say about Dulcich, other than he is a very talented rookie in the perfect situation.
Dulcich's routes run rate reached 91% in Week 8, which is truly elite. He cashed in with a four catch, 87 yards total. It’s scary to think that Dulcich's value could go up following a bye week considering he hasn’t had much time to form chemistry with Russell Wilson this season.

Bears K Cairo Santos vs. DET (3%)
Justin Fields is playing brilliantly right now and the Bears have an implied team total of 26 against the Lions.
That means Santos should see plenty of scoring opportunities. Since the game is in Chicago in mid-November, we should keep an eye on the weather later in the week, but Santos opens as my third-ranked kicker. I will update my kicker rankings pending the weather projections later in the week.
Giants DEF vs. HOU (11%)
The Giants face the Texans this week and that's the sole reason they open the week as my DEF1.
If you are in a must-win game this week and are looking for a defensive streaming play, this is a time I may bid $1-2 of my FAAB in order to ensure I get this unit. The Saints and Raiders are also good options based on their matchups if you are unable to snag the Giants.
