"Streaming" quarterbacks, defenses and kickers has been a fantasy football strategy I've successfully used for years.

I've parlayed that success into a series of weekly recommendations of the top streaming options at those three positions, as well as tight end — a position I don't recommend streaming week-to-week — which can be of assistance in a pinch.

The concept behind streaming is that you add someone for a given week based on the matchup, rather than putting emphasis on a player's long-term projection.

Note that most of these players are rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! leagues, but that these recommendations do not mean that they are the best streamer play for your league — be sure to check my up-to-the-minute rankings to see who the best available player is in your league.

Read on for my Week 14 streaming analysis.

Lions QB Jared Goff vs. Vikings (51% rostered)

Coming off a solid 340/2/0 passing line against the Jaguars, Goff has another good matchup against the Vikings — the Lions have the second highest implied team total of Week 14.

Rookie receiver Jameson Williams made his debut last week but was limited to just a few snaps. We could see him have closer to a full-time role this week, which would give the Lions a much-needed vertical threat to their passing attack.

It could be the first time all season Goff has all four of his receivers at full health. He opens the week as my QB12 and the top streaming option.

Broncos TE Greg Dulcich vs. Chiefs (38%)

As soon as I decide to write off Dulcich — largely due to Russell Wilson’s poor play — he goes off for his best game of the season (6/85/0).

With Courtland Sutton banged up, Dulcich could remain the top target in Denver's offense in what should be a pass-heavy game script against Kansas City. Dulcich opens the week as my TE7 and is back in play as a mid-range TE1.

Vikings K Greg Joseph at Lions (18%)

Because the Minnesota-Detroit game has the highest total of Week 14, this is a game where both kickers are solid streaming options.

The Lions tend to be pretty aggressive with their fourth-down decision making, so I like going with Greg Joseph as my top streaming option. He opens the week as my No. 5 kicker.

Steelers Defense vs. Ravens (28%)

Tyler Huntley, who will likely get the start for the injured Lamar Jackson, is a solid backup, but he tends to hang in the pocket too long and gets sacked at a high rate as a result. He was sacked 3.6 times per game in five starts last season.

The Ravens also have the second lowest team total of the week so this is a good week to stream the Steelers defense. I have Pittsburgh ranked No. 4 to open the week.
