Aaron Rodgers is staying with the Packers, which means a few things for Green Bay and Denver players alike. According to our Director of Predictive Analytics, Sean Koerner, several players’ stock is impacted by the back-to-back MVP’s decision to stick with the Pack in a reported four-year, $200 million deal.

Here is Sean’s breakdown of the winners and losers of this deal, including the Broncos players who won’t be catching passes from Rodgers next season:

Stock Up

Davante Adams
Aaron Jones/AJ Dillon
Robert Tonyan

Stock Down

Jerry Jeudy
Courtland Sutton
Tim Patrick
Noah Fant

Uncertain

Jordan Love

It might not be all bad news for Love though. The 2020 first-round pick was the catalyst for some of Rodgers’ discontentment in Green Bay, but now is the time to shop the Year 2 quarterback.

The Packers will likely entertain offers for Love now that Rodgers is locked in for the next four years — they’d be crazy not to. That’s why Sean believes Love presents a perfect buy-low opportunity right now in dynasty fantasy formats.

Sean Koerner: With a handful of teams looking for a long-term answer under center and neither free agency nor the draft presenting many exciting options, Love should benefit. I could see him starting for any of these teams in 2022: Saints, Panthers, Bucs, Commanders, Steelers, Broncos, Colts, Lions, Texans or even the Falcons could be a possibility.

Regardless of where Love ends up, there are a ton of potential fits and it would make sense for the Packers to get something for him while they can.
