Betting odds for Odell Beckham Jr.'s next team are no longer available, but bettors who got in early on the Green Bay Packers are hoping the rumors may be true.
The Packers, listed at +1200 at PointsBet before odds were pulled, are one of the most likely destinations according to ESPN. Dianna Russini first reported Beckham Jr. was most interested in the Packers, Saints and Kansas City Chiefs.
Pro Football Talk later reported the Chiefs are the favorite, but the "favorite" has changed multiple times during this news cycle.
The Chiefs would be a win for the sportsbook, as odds to join Patrick Mahomes and Co. weren't originally posted.
The Saints were one of the early favorites on the betting market at +450.
November 5 Update
The Odell Beckham Jr. era with the Cleveland Browns has come to an unceremonious end with the team working on a deal to release him to waivers, leaving him free to sign with another team.
After not finding a trade to their liking, the Browns will move on without him and the drama that followed. The connection with quarterback Baker Mayfield never developed the way the offense hoped, and it became a disrupting issue.
Now Beckham Jr. moves on after catching 17 passes for 232 yards in six games with Cleveland. He last reached 1000 yards receiving in 2019 and is coming off a torn ACL from last season.
There are plenty of wide receiver-needy teams in the league who will take a chance on Beckham Jr.'s talent. Leading the way is the Las Vegas Raiders, according to odds released by PointsBet in Colorado. The Raiders are +300 to acquire him next.
The Raiders released starting receiver Harry Ruggs III this week after he was arrested for a DUI that resulted in death. That leaves Hunter Renfrow, Bryan Edwards and Zay Jones as the top receivers on the Raiders' depth chart.
The Saints and Patriots are tied at +450 for second on the oddsboard. New Orleans received news this week that top receiver Michael Thomas will not play this season due to a setback on his injury. The Patriots' depth chart could use a boost alongside Jakobi Meyers, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne.
The only other two teams with odds shorter than +1000 are the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills.
Once the separation is finalized, teams can claim Beckham on waivers.
