It's time to jump into the 2024 Men's Olympics Golf odds as Le Golf National hosts this week's Men's Olympic Golf Competition in the Guyancourt, France — near Paris following Jhonattan Vegas' one-shot win at the 3M Open.

Scottie Scheffler is the outright betting favorite to win the gold medal over Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele at Le Golf National. The golf course annually hosts the Open de France on the DP World Tour (European Tour) and also hosted the 2018 Ryder Cup, where the European Ryder Cup Team prevailed over Team USA.

Because golf was not included in the Olympics from 1904 until 2016, only two men's golfers have won a gold medal since 1904: Xander Schauffele in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and Justin Rose in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Find the complete odds for the 2024 Men's Olympic Golf Competition below as of Wednesday morning.

2024 Men's Olympics Golf Odds

American Scottie Scheffler is the outright betting favorite to win the 2024 Men's Olympic Golf Competition at +420 odds at bet365 as he looks to win his first gold medal. The reigning winner of the Masters has won six of his last 11 starts on the PGA Tour and is coming off of a tie for seventh in his last start at The Open Championship (also referred to as the British Open) at Royal Troon.

Scheffler, the No. 1 golfer in the Official World Golf Ranking thanks to his incredible ball-striking, is making his first appearance at both Le Golf National and the Olympics this week.

Xander Schauffele, who has won two major championships this year at the PGA Championship and The Open Championship, has the second-shortest outright betting odds at bet365 at +700 to win the gold medal for a second time.

The Team USA golfer enters with momentum after his two-shot win at The Open Championship and has finished outside the top 25 in just one tournament in 18 starts on the PGA Tour in 2024. The reigning gold medal winner from the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan is the only golfer with a gold medal in the field this week.

Rory McIlroy missed the cut at the British Open, but he still has the third-shortest odds to win the Men's Olympics Golf Competition this week. The best golfer in Northern Ireland history is +850 to win his first gold medal this week in his second appearance at the Olympics after tying for fourth at the 2021 Olympic Men's Golf Competition in Tokyo.

McIlroy has made two prior appearances at Le Golf National in the 2010 and 2016 editions of the Open de France on the European Tour, where he finished in solo fourth and third at this golf course, respectively.

Two-time major champion Jon Rahm is making his Olympics debut this week at +1000 odds following his victory this past weekend at LIV UK. The Spaniard does have experience at Le Golf National as he tied for 10th in the 2017 Open de France and tied for fifth in the 2018 Open de France here.

American Collin Morikawa is making his second appearance at the Olympic Men's Golf Competition after losing in a seven-way playoff for the bronze medal in Tokyo, and he has +1100 odds to win the gold medal at Le Golf National this week. He does not have a win this year on the PGA Tour, but he has been playing great golf with eight consecutive top-16 finishes.

Bryson DeChambeau, who won the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 in dramatic fashion, is notably absent as the only winner of one of the four major championships in 2024 who is not in the field this week.

The other golfers in the field with outright odds of 25-1 or shorter at bet365 on Wednesday morning include:

  • Ludvig Åberg (+1500)
  • Tommy Fleetwood (+2200)
  • Tom Kim (+2400)
  • Joaquin Niemann (+2400)

Some other notables in the field this week and their Olympics outright odds include Viktor Hovland (+2700), Alex Noren (+3000), Corey Conners (+3500), Min Woo Lee (+4500), Jason Day (+5500) and Wyndham Clark (+7500).
