Serbia vs. Puerto Rico — 3 p.m. ET
Mya Hollingshed made her debut with the Puerto Rican national team in 2022 and immediately became their second option behind Arella Guirantes.
Hollingshed averaged 13.0 points per game during the World Cup and I think her line here — Guirantes' too (14.5) are just too low.
Understanding that Serbia will be strong defensively, Hollingshed is a stretch big who'll look to bend the defense, who hit 43 percent from deep on nearly five attempts per game in the World Cup.
Think this should be around 11, so it's not a horrible line, but I'll take the over.
Pick: Mya Hollingshed Over 9.5 Points (Bet365)
Serbia vs. Puerto Rico — 3 p.m. ET
Arella Guirantes is generally the source of Puerto Rico's shot creation.
She's their leading scorer more often than not, and even led Puerto Rico (and everyone!) in scoring during the 2022 World Cup at over 18 points per game.
This line is low, and I get it, Puerto Rico is a big underdog, but when point differential matters, you can't pull the plug too soon even in a blowout.
Guirantes should clear this. And I'd be OK playing at 15.5.
