Our PGA Tour outright winning streak rolls on with Jhonattan Vegas making it four weeks in a row with a winner on that tour as he cashed at 90-1 odds at the 3M Open.

Naturally, the PGA Tour takes a brief hiatus just as we get going for the Paris Olympics.

The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are the highlight this week along with five other tours.

Global Golf Betting Picks

Men's Olympic Golf Competition — Paris Olympics

Best Bet: Corey Conners +4500 (bet365)

We've already got a few Men's Olympic Golf bets from last month with Tom Kim and Alex Noren at +5000. Consequently, I won't have a lot more to add to the card.

As I wrote then, Le Golf National is well known, especially among the regular European Tour players. It hosts the Open de France every year and held the 2018 Ryder Cup. It's historically been a precision course that punishes wayward bombers.

Corey Conners is the next guy up for me. He should fit this place perfectly, and if he played a full European schedule, I believe he'd eventually win here on that tour. The Canadian is as good as anyone in the world when it comes to finding a fairway and green. From there, the short game can be a struggle.

I wish he had played this place one time in competition just to get an idea if it fit his eye, but on paper, this should be his type of venue.

Other Men's Olympic Golf Competition Bets:

  • Abraham Ancer 80-1

Portland Classic — LPGA

Best Bet: Pajaree Anannarukarn +4000 (bet365)

The LPGA heads out to the West Coast, and it's pretty light in terms of talent at the top. With Paris looming for many of the stars, that flight from Portland didn't look too appetizing, I can only assume.

I'll go back to Anannarukarn this week. She played fine last week after a couple of top-15 finishes. It's also been a course where she has popped in the past with an eighth in 2021.

These events with a total absence of stars are far more rare on the LPGA than we see on the PGA Tour, so it's a bit of an adjustment to get used to these numbers, but I do think there are some decent plays here.

Other Portland Classic Bets:

  • Yealimi Noh +5000
  • Nataliya Guseva +6600
  • Xiaowen Yin +8000

Utah Championship — Korn Ferry Tour

Best Bet: Trevor Cone +4000 (bet365)

The Korn Ferry Tour heads to Utah for one of its regular tour stops at Oakridge Country Club. It's a pretty easy course, like many on this tour, that plays short at the high altitude.

Basically, this is a wedge and putter contest. I'll go with Trevor Cone, who had been playing well until the past couple weeks and has strong results here.

He was fifth in Colorado, another high-altitude course, and finished inside the top 25 in four of his five starts here. The best was his fifth in 2022.

He's a two-time winner at this level, so he's done it before here and with some good results both historically and in his recent events, so this seems like a decent number.

Other Utah Championship Bets:

  • Peter Kuest 75-1
  • Roberto Diaz 80-1
  • Joshua Creel 90-1
  • Paul Peterson 90-1
  • Cooper Jones 150-1
  • Cole Ponich 200-1
  • Carson Lundell 250-1
  • Christopher Petefish 350-1

Irish Challenge — Challenge Tour

Best Bet: Oliver Lindell +4000 (bet365)

The Olympics aren't the only tournament being played this week on an old Ryder Cup golf course. The Challenge Tour heads to the K Club this week, which hosted the Ryder Cup in 2006.

We haven't seen it on this tour before, but it did host the Irish Open last year on the DP World Tour, so some players got a glimpse of it then.

Oliver Lindell is my top play here this week. He's found a decent run in the past couple months with three finishes of 11th or better in the last five starts, including a fifth two weeks ago.

Other Irish Challenge Bets:

  • Andreas Halvorsen 50-1
  • Gregorio De Leo 66-1
  • Borja Virto 66-1
  • Oihan Guillamondeguy 150-1

Staysure PGA Seniors Championship — Legends Tour

Best Bet: Simon Khan +6600 (bet365)

It's an off week for the old guys in the United States after the Senior Open Championship, but a few of them hung around this week to play the Legends Tour event.

I'll keep this betting card light because I don't have much interest with Alex Cejka topping this board. I will play Khan, who made the cut last week and finished 21st. He also has a 34th in the Senior PGA major event.

He's played solid in the highest events, and now in a watered-down Euro field, this is a decent price on a course he finished fifth on last season.

FNB Eswatini Challenge at Nkonyeni — Sunshine Tour

Best Bet: Fredrik From +3300 (bet365)

The Sunshine Tour is back on a regular schedule after a Wednesday start last week.

I'm going with Fredrik From here, and he seems to have found some of his best form in years. He's finished in the top 15 in four of his last five starts.

From has been one of the better ball-strikers on this tour for a while, routinely ranking near the top in both Driving Accuracy and Greens in Regulation.

However, that also means his short game is likely a disaster since he hasn't won yet in South Africa. Those stats have seen an uptick this year and led to this run as he finally looks to have everything click for the first time.

Other FNB Eswatini Challenge at Nkonyeni Bets:

  • Jacques de Villiers 55-1
  • Joe Long 100-1
  • Tristin Galant 160-1
