You know the names, but do you know how to bet on them?
Team USA will send 222 athletes to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and we're here to give you everything you need to know in terms of what you can bet on for Team USA.
The Winter Olympics officially begin with the Opening Ceremony on February 4, but some preliminary events begin as early as February 2. All events will be broadcast on NBC networks or streaming services.
Here's how you can wager on Mikaela Shiffrin as the action gets started.
All odds as of February 1 and via FanDuel.
Mikaela Shiffrin, Alpine Skiing
- +300 to win Gold Medal in Women's Giant Slalom
- +140 to win Gold Medal in Women's Slalom
You might remember Shiffrin from her two previous Olympic appearances, and the 26-year-old already has three Olympic medals, including two golds.
This year, Shiffrin will attempt to compete in five different events — Giant Slalom, Slalom, Super-G, Downhill, Combined Downhill and Combined Slalom.
As of this writing, FanDuel is offering odds in two of those events — Giant Slalom and Slalom.
In the former, Shiffrin is the betting favorite at +300, meaning a $100 wager on her to win could net $300. In the latter, her +140 odds are second to Petra Vlhova of Slovakia, who is the favorite at -115.
