You know the names, but do you know how to bet on them?
Team USA will send 222 athletes to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, and we're here to give you everything you need to know in terms of what you can bet on for Team USA.
The Winter Olympics officially begin with the Opening Ceremony on February 4, but some preliminary events begin as early as February 2. All events will be broadcast on NBC networks or streaming services.
Here's how you can wager on Shaun White as the action gets started.
All odds as of February 1 and via FanDuel.
Shaun White, Halfpipe Snowboarding
- +550 to win Gold Medal in Men's Halfpipe Snowboarding
One of the most dominant and recognizable American Winter Olympics athletes, White is back in the Games for the fifth time. It seems forever ago that White first burst onto the scene in 2006 in Italy when he won gold as a 20-year-old, and now with three total gold medals in his trophy case, he's back for one more go of it at the age of 35.
At his advanced (for an athlete) age, White is no longer the favorite this time around. His +550 odds are just third-lowest of all the competitors. A $100 wager on White to win gold could net $550.
The favorites are Scotty James of Austria and Ayumu Hirano of Japan, both of whom check in at +300 odds.
