It's time for the ladies to take the floor for their quarterfinals matchups in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Just like the men, the women's basketball knockout round will have a four-game slate to look forward to with no room for error as we have reached the one-and-done portion of the tournament. So it's definitely go big or go home time with a 5 a.m. ET matchup between Serbia and Australia to tip the action off first on Wednesday with an 8:30 a.m. ET Spain vs. Belgium face-off to follow.

In the afternoon dose, there will be Germany going up against Marine Johannes and France at 12 p.m. ET and then of course, the team that everyone is waiting to see: Team USA as they take on Nigeria, who is in the midst of their own Cinderella story.

Let's not hold you any longer from the picks that our experts have for the slate ahead as we dive into their Women's Olympics basketball picks and best bets for Wednesday, August 7 below!

Joe Dellera's USA vs Nigeria Women's Olympics Basketball Pick: Sabrina Ionescu Over 4.5 Assists (-115)

By Joe Dellera

Ionescu will facilitate the rock in this game against Nigeria.

Despite starting, Diana Taurus played just 6 minutes against Germany. She’s played just 35 minutes across three games and has generally been ineffective. The offense is working better when it is run with Ionescu at the top.

Sab has been great through three games. She has tallied 5 assists in each game and has been ruthlessly efficient as a primary facilitator. Here, in the Knockout Round, we should expect Team USA to rely on their best lineups and combinations, and that involves having Ionescu on the court with A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart, two players who make getting assists easy.

I’ll back Ionescu to once again exceed 4.5 assists.

Pick: Sabrina Ionescu Over 4.5 Assists (-115)

Previous Olympics Picks for Earlier Games on Wednesday, August 7

Joe Dellera's Serbia vs Australia Women's Olympics Basketball Pick: Serbia +8.5

By Joe Dellera

Here’s why to back the Serbian Women’s team as a dog against Australia.

Despite finishing second in the group, Serbia had a better point differential than Spain in Group A. They have done an excellent job of capitalizing on turnovers.

Throughout the Olympics, Australia is surrendering 21 Turnovers per game, and Serbia is scoring about 18 points per game on opponents’ turnovers.

When these two teams played back in February, Australia won by just two points in the Qualifying Tournament. There, Serbia dominate the Turnover battle and scored 19 points off of turnovers.

Given the style of play, this is too many points to lay and I’ll back Serbia at +8.5.

Pick: Serbia +8.5 (DraftKings)

Joe Dellera's Spain vs Belgium Women's Olympics Basketball Pick: Belgium -5.5

By Joe Dellera

Belgium has been an extremely tough team throughout the Olympics and their 1-2 record is not indicative of the talent.

Belgium has scored the second most points throughout the Olympics with the third best shooting percentage.

Here, they matchup against Spain, who, despite being 3-0 have faced some relatively weak competition and actually did not have the best point differential in their group.

Belgium pushed the United States in the Olympics but also in February in the qualifiers, and they have the talent to contend in the knockout rounds.

Pick: Belgium -5.5 (DraftKings)

Bryan Fonseca's Spain-Belgium, Germany-France Parlay: Belgium ML + France ML Parlay

By Bryan Fonseca

Bryan Fonseca's Spain-Belgium, Germany-France Parlay: Belgium ML + France ML Parlay

Belgium opened as an underdog, which quickly moved to them being -1.5-point favorites, which I played Sunday night. That same evening, I took France at -3. Both numbers are long gone as both teams are around 5-point favorites, which I still think either are good enough to clear, but… there's a but.

I elected to, because I at least think both teams will win, to parlay their moneylines. France is -250 and Belgium is -230. I wish it had more value than +100, but I really think Belgium is better than they've shown. They gave Team USA their stiffest test and won EuroBasket a year ago, plus, Emma Messeman's been as good as anyone in the tournament, and Julie Vanloo is — to me — in a bounceback spot after going 2-for-11 and 1-for-19 from three last game.

And for France, as good as Germany was in group play, I think France is just the better squad who lost to an absolutely desperate Australia team. They might be the second best team alive, to be honest.

Pick: Belgium ML + France ML Parlay (DraftKings)

Bryan Fonseca's Germany-France Pick: Marine Johannes Over 2.5 Assists

By Bryan Fonseca

Running this back after getting hooked last game.

I think France needs more from Marine Johannes, who struggled last game. This goes beyond scoring, because they feed off her ignitability as a playmaker, too. Now that we're in the quarters, Johannes should see extended run because of her creation, both for herself and others.

In group play, she cleared 2.5 dimes in only the win over Nigeria, and we got two last game. She's a very up and down player, so this always comes with risk, but I'm not expecting another two-assist performance in 21+ minutes if this is, in fact, close. France also shot just 42 percent from the field and under 30 percent from three, so we can't even blame her.

Pick: Marine Johannes Over 2.5 Assists (Bet365)
