Going right back to picking on this Indianapolis pass defense after nailing the George Pickens ladder in Week 4. Pickens (7 catches for 113 yards) is the latest in a growing list of single-high safety killers to torch this team, joining Nico Collins (6 catches for 117 yards) and D.J. Moore (8 catches for 78 yards). The Colts played Cover 3 (one-high safety) at a hefty 47.5% rate against Pittsburgh, which even more than they usually do (43.1% on the season). Wouldn't expect Gus Bradley and company to switch things up this week. Thomas is ascending. He's earned 9 targets in each of the past two weeks and had a career-high 6 catches in Week 4. Thomas has also torched single-high looks this season. Thomas ranks 15th among wide receivers in yards per route run against single-high safety coverage (minimum 20 routes). Justin Jefferson, A.J. Brown, and Nico Collins are at the top of the leaderboard. Thomas is tied with Chris Olave. This is a pretty good leaderboard to be on.

Henry has 31 carries in BAL’s losses compared to 49 in their wins. Lamar Jackson had 41 attempts in Week 1 and 34 attempts in Week 2. He's combined for 33 attempts in Weeks 3-4. Pretty straightforward game plan. Baltimore now ranks 3rd in rush rate at 49.4%. It's a silly 67.5% over the past couple of weeks. Justice Hill has mixed in plenty but almost strictly in a pass-catching role. Henry has handled 85.1% of the rush share. The Bengals have allowed the 8th-most rushing yards per game. They're bottom 8 in success rate against both zone and man/gap concepts. Cincinnati has allowed the 5th-most rush attempts. Baltimore is a 2.5-point favorite. This should be a spot where they have success on the ground, which means another heavy dose of King Henry.

As a rookie, Wicks ranked 17th in yards per route run (YPRR) among receivers who ran at least 250 routes. That was better than guys like Ja'Marr Chase, DK Metcalf, and Chris Olave. As a rookie! It was slightly ahead of teammate Jayden Reed, who is also quite good. Wicks was even better against zone coverage, with an elite 2.49 YPRR mark. That ranked 14th in the league among wide receivers with at least 175 routes run against zone. The Rams have played zone coverage at the 5th-highest rate. They've allowed the highest yards per route run and yards per reception. It's an excellent matchup for Wicks, who played a season-high 76% of the snaps last week. He probably won't see 13 targets again, but Green Bay is back to slinging it with Jordan Love under center. They've had a healthy 62.1% neutral pass rate in Love's two starts.

MyCole Pruitt has been ruled out, which matters pretty much only to me. Pruitt has missed the last 2 games, and Freiermuth has posted a snap rate and route participation above 75% in both of them. He's 2nd on the team in target share at 17.4%, behind only George Pickens. Freiermuth has a solid role in the offense, and the playing time is ticking up. Dallas has hardly allowed any production to tight ends, but they've faced an extremely soft TE schedule (Cleveland, New Orleans, Baltimore, New York Giants). David Njoku is the only solid TE the Cowboys have gone up against, and he led Cleveland with 4 catches for 44 yards before leaving early in the 2nd half with an injury. Without Demarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons, Dallas is going to have a tough time getting pressure on Justin Fields, which is big for the passing game. Volume is the main concern, but the pass attempts are ticking up for Fields, and this should be a competitive game. Freiermuth has 4+ catches in every game this season.
