New in The Action Network App: Verified Bets & Leaderboard, #ActionWrapped, Top Props Tab

We've made one of the biggest updates of the year to The Action Network app to close 2021.

Here's what's new:

1. #ActionWrapped

Your year in betting, in just a few minutes.

We've created a mini-slideshow of your Action app performance that shows your best and worst sports, most profitable teams, biggest wins and more (similar to a certain music streaming service).

2. Verified Leaderboard

Experts in the Action app cannot edit bets once they're entered.

Now, every user can prove they're an expert by logging verified bets.

And the best bettors will appear atop our new leaderboards:

So what is a verified bet?

1. Locked to consensus lines
2. Can't be altered after placing
3. Must be 0.5-3 units
4. Cannot be live bets, futures or huge favorites
5. Can't bet same side more than twice

These parameters are in place to keep users from gaming the system by placing 100-unit bets on -5,000 favorites, and the like.

Not every bet needs to be verified, however — if you bet the Chiefs -3 and the consensus has moved to -3.5 by the time you go to track it in the app, you don't need to count that bet on your verified record.

Any wagers placed via BetSync at PointsBet, Parx or BetMGM will be verified, as well.

Leaderboards can be sorted by the last seven days, 30 days and all-time, and by several different sports to find the best bettors to follow.

3. Top Props in the PRO Tab

Our proprietary player projections now power the Props section of our PRO tab.

Here, you'll find our projections for NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL compared to the listed props. If there's an edge, we'll display it as both a percentage and grade.
