The Highlights

  • Barcelona are the odds-on favorites (4-5) to repeat as La Liga champions in 2018-19
  • Real Madrid have the next best odds at 5-4
  • Atletico Madrid have the third-best odds at 14-1; the rest of the league is 100-1 or higher

Following a season in which they nearly went unbeaten, Barcelona are the odds-on favorites to win Spain's La Liga again in 2018-19. They'll be aiming for their 26th league title in club history and 10th title since the 2004-05 season.

This will be the league's 88th season in existence with Real Madrid winning the most titles with 33, followed by Barcelona (25) and Atletico Madrid (10). Huesca, a newly promoted club, will be in the top flight for the first time ever and are listed at 4000-1 to win the title.

Here are all the early odds from Bet365 to win Spain's La Liga in 2018-19:

Favorites

Barcelona

Next season will be a bit different for Barcelona as they'll be without Andres Iniesta for the first time since 2001. The legendary midfielder is moving on to Vissel Kobe in Japan, but Barcelona have consistently proven they can replenish quickly. At 4-5 odds, sportsbooks are giving Barcelona a 55.56% chance at repeating as La Liga champions next year. As long as they stay relatively healthy, they'll surely be toward the top of the table by season's end.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid have won only one league title in the last six years, but have more than made up for it with three Champions League titles (and a possible fourth on Saturday, May 26 vs. Liverpool) in that span. The club is loaded with talent with a proven head coach in Zinedine Zidane, and they enter next season with 5-4 odds to win the league.

Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid have won 10 league titles in their history, most recently in 2013-14. They finished second last season ahead of Real Madrid but enter next year with the third-best title odds at 14-1. They're coming off a Europa League title and have one of the best managers in the world, Diego Simeone. They're stifling defensively and could be strong enough to compete for the title next season.

Longshots

Aside from the big three, every other club is listed at 100-1 or higher, showing just how much better Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are than everyone else. There are still two more teams that will be promoted from the lower division to La Liga, but they'll likely be listed at 2000-1 or higher.

League play starts up in August, and we'll be sure to update odds as the season approaches.
