South Korea to Beat Sweden +290

It may be unfair to label Korea a "one-man show" because the Reds have a few nifty players, but the star of the show is Tottenham's Son Heung-min.

Son is a versatile attacking threat who can beat defenders with both feet, set up his teammates and he can also finish himself. His supporting cast at Tottenham is levels above what he's working with on the international level, but there is talent on this roster, including two players Son knows from the Premier League and a wild card in 22-year-old RB Salzburg forward Hwang Hee-chan.

Although they are in one of the toughest groups in the tournament, Korea were dealt a minor break with their schedule. They open against Sweden and play Mexico second, so avoiding Germany until Game 3 is pretty big.

I also think that means we'll see the Reds go for it against the Swedes in their opening match. They won't fancy their chances of getting a win against Mexico or Germany, so if they're going to advance, they best defeat Sweden — which is an obtainable objective. There's enough talent on South Korea's side to match up with Sweden, and with Son, they have a game-breaker who can take over a game.

South Korea's over/under is set at 2.5 points with the over at +120, so I'd suggest foregoing that and taking them to beat Sweden (Monday, June 18 at 8 a.m. ET) at +290 instead.
