There's a new Sheriff running things in the Champions League.
Unheralded FC Sheriff Tiraspol, the tiny club that's king in the Moldovan First Division, sent shockwaves across the European soccer landscape Tuesday with a stunning 2-1 victory over global giant Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the Spanish capital.
The win moved Sheriff to the top of the Group D table with six points following their latest win and an opening victory over Shakhtar Donetsk.
Unfortunately, we were on the other side of that match, with the belief Real Madrid would have a field day against the club that closed +2000 odds or longer at the majority of sportsbooks.
Soccer analysts Jeremy Pond and Matthew Trebby are hoping things turn around Wednesday, and they've put together another two-leg parlay on the eight-game schedule. They are targeting matches featuring Zenit Saint Petersburg vs. Malmö and Bayern Munich vs. Dynamo Kyiv for the wager.
Check out their selections and what kind of price they're getting on their parlay at DraftKings ahead of the latest matchups.

Jeremy Pond: If there was ever a "must-win" match for these clubs, this would be the occasion.
Zenit and Malmö opened Group H with defeats, with the hosts playing Chelsea tight in a 1-0 setback. On the other side, the Swedish stalwart was thoroughly beaten in a 3-0 rout at the hands of Juventus.
Things have gone well for Zenit so far on the domestic front, though. The Blue-White-Sky Blues (yes, I love that nickname) are unbeaten through nine fixtures in the Russian Premier League. However, they've lost seven of their last eight UCL games entering this affair.
As for Malmö, the outfit was in the midst of a five-match winless streak before earning back-to-back victories against Elfsborg (1-0) and Örebro (5-1) to move three points behind front runner Djurgårdens in the Allsvenskan.
Needless to say, neither are favored to advance to the Round of 16 in the competition, so I can't see how either sits back and lets things come to them on Russian soil. For that reason, I'm backing the total to go over 2.5 goals at -120 odds via DraftKings as my top selection in first leg of this parlay.
Zenit, currently a -185 favorite on the three-way moneyline, is the likely winner, but don't expect midfielder Bonke Innocent and the visitors to go down easily in this intriguing confrontation.
Pond's Pick: Total Over 2.5 Goals (-115)
Bayern Munich vs. Dynamo Kyiv

Matthew Trebby: Bayern Munich is a goal-scoring machine, both domestically and across Europe.
The Bavarian giants have scored three or more goals in eight of their nine games this season across all competitions, including eight games in a row. Those matches include victories against Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Barcelona.
Dynamo Kyiv loves to get forward as well. The heavy underdogs, who have scored 25 goals in nine Ukrainian Premier League games this season, are atop the table and sit three points ahead of Shakhtar Donetsk.
The line on this game presents very little value. The Bayern Munich moneyline is -1200, with its Draw No Bet line on DraftKings at a staggering -20000. So, we’ll turn to the total, which is at -150 odds to go over 3.5 goals.
Speaking of totals, what about the totals in each half? Well, the German champions have scored in the first half in eight of their nine games this season. They’ve scored multiple goals in each of their last two games.
The best price on the first-half total at over 1.5 is on DraftKings at -125, so we’ll target that number. No team has been able to contain Bayern Munich over 90 minutes, so it’s just a matter of when they score. The Bavarians have scored 23 goals in only six Bundesliga games on 21.36 non-penalty expected goals, which tells me there’s no luck involved.
I’m not a fan of betting the under on the best attack in Europe, and this is the best number on the over. So, here we are.
Trebby's Pick: 1H Total Over 1.5 Goals (-120)
Pond & Trebby Parlay
Zenit/Malmö Total Over 2.5 Goals (-120) & Bayern Munich/Dynamo Kyiv 1H Total Over 1.5 Goals (-125) at +230 odds via DraftKings
