Jeremy Pond: Expect the unexpected in the final set of Champions League matches, friends. That's all I can tell you. And if you're looking for one of those wild affairs, we could be in store for plenty of shenanigans at Parc des Princes.

Paris Saint-Germain has absolutely nothing at stake in this Group A clash, locked into second place and heading to the knockout phase. However, Club Brugge has everything to play for and could earn a spot in the Europa League since it's level on points with RB Leipzig.

That said, I don't know if they're capable of snagging a massive victory against the global juggernaut, let alone bag a point via a draw. Even with the Parisians likely resting several key starters (for what it's worth, you wouldn't see me playing Lionel Messi or Kylian Mbappé), the Belgian outfit is firmly up against it.

Yet, what I do know is Brugge won't go down without a fight. The Blue-Black might lose this game 4-1 or something similar, but I do think they'll be able to find the back of the Parisians' net. For that reason, I'm backing the Same Game Parlay of Both Teams To Score combined with the total clearing 2.5 goals at -125 odds as the first leg of the parlay.

The hosts have only kept one clean sheet in group play, which is enough for me to get creative with this wager.

Shakhtar vs. Sheriff

Avery Zimmerman: This is a complete dead rubber, meaning there's absolutely no importance tied to this match. Sheriff Tiraspol is locked into the third place and a spot in the Europa League knockout stage, while Shakhtar Donetsk is in last place and will not experience any more European football this year after this match.

Looking at this game from a pure matchup perspective, Sheriff has probably been the better side throughout the group stage. Despite overachieving in the early fixtures of the competition, Sheriff is generating 1.3 expected goals per match and has conceded 1.83 xGA an outing for a -0.53 xG differential.

Shakhtar has a very similar xGDiff at -0.51, but the bigger distinction comes when looking at conversion rate, where Sheriff has excelled and Shakhtar has been awful. Sheriff's 10.2% conversion rate is nearly 10 times Shakhtar's conversion rate of 1.2%, which is worst in the entire competition.

Given these metrics, I'm inclined to see more value in backing a side that will rarely get to play in this competition, unlike Shakhtar. Any motivation that might exist in the contest should be with Sheriff. And accounting for the fact it has been on par with Shakhtar or better throughout the group stage, getting +1 at near Pick'em value feels like a great spot.

I'll go with the Moldovan side with a touch of insurance on the spread.
