  • Italy was pushed to the brink by Austria, needing extra time in a 2-1 win.
  • The Czech Republic pulled off a massive upset, beating the Netherlands, 2-0, after star Dutch defender Matthjis de Ligt was sent off in the 55th minute.

Before we jump into the projections, let's take a look at where the future odds are sitting to win the tournament.

Euro 2020 Betting Odds

Odds via DraftKings

TEAMODDS
England+200
Spain+335
Italy+360
Belgium+700
Denmark+950
Czech Republic+2400
Switzerland+2400
Ukraine+3300

With France eliminated, England is now the favorite to win the tournament. So, that means oddsmakers believe football is most likely "coming home."

Spain and Italy are the next two on the board, as both sizable favorites to advance to the semifinal round on the left side of the bracket. Belgium, who will be without Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard for their Round of 16 match, and Denmark, which could potentially pull off one of the greatest comeback stories in tournament history at +950 odds, round out the top-5 nations.

Finally, you have the three longshots in Czech Republic, Switzerland and Ukraine, all of whom are sitting at +2400 or above on the board.

Now, without further ado, let's get into the projections for the quarterfinal-round matches. If you'd like to read more about how I determine my projections, you can check them out here.
