Brett Pund: For my leg of the parlay, I’m looking at La Liga, where I’m opposing my lowest-rated team in the league by taking Cádiz at +0.5 at -110 odds.
It really doesn’t matter who Getafe is playing. There's no way this squad should be favored over anyone and it definitely shouldn’t be close to even money on the three-way moneyline.
Yes, I completely understand the reasoning. Cádiz hasn’t necessarily been that much better either. However, if you look over the last five matches, the visitors have been much more competitive. During that span, Cádiz has an expected goals difference of -1.4 and is unbeaten in the last three outings, while Getafe has a -4.1 xG difference over the same period.
When you look through the advanced metrics, the defensive stats are better than the attacking numbers, which is why we see the total at 1.5 goals. So, who has the better chances of scoring? The clear answer is Cádiz, which has six more goals on 4.8 more xG this campaign.
There’s no way Getafe should be the favorite, so give me the visiting side.
Pund's Pick: Cádiz +0.5 (-110)
Inter Milan vs. Napoli
Inter Odds | +125 |
Napoli Odds | +220 |
Draw | +245 |

Anthony Dabbundo: Many of the big games between the top Serie A clubs this season have been lower scoring, and I’m not expecting this showdown between Inter Milan and Napoli to be any different. My projection sits at just 2.41 goals, so I’m comfortable taking under 2.5 at anything plus money.
Defense is making a bit of renaissance in the Italian top flight, with Napoli leading the charge this year. Not only does Napoli have the top defense in Serie A, but one of the best in all of Europe.
The club ranks first in NPxG allowed, third in shots allowed and first in big scoring chances conceded. They’re facing the best attack in Serie A in this meeting, but Inter has padded its numbers against weaker opponents in the league and struggled against some of the bigger clubs.
Inter has produced 29 goals from just 24 xG, and is still due for some regression in attack, given the average finishing numbers of almost all of its main shot getters and attackers.
Playing away from home, Napoli is likely to let Inter have the ball and dare them to break them down. And if it’s 1-1 late, a draw continues to be a good result for both sides and could lead to conservative approaches late.
Dabbundo's Pick: Total Under 2.5 Goals (+110)
