The France vs. Morocco odds are heating up, and bettors are increasing their volume of wagers on the World Cup semifinal match.
According to BetMGM, a decent chunk of bettors believe that a shocking upset may be on the cards.
Data released on Wednesday morning outlined that 56% of the three-way moneyline tickets for this fixture are on the Atlas Lions, with 37% of the handle following suit. Morocco are listed at +600 on that wager, and they're also tracking a majority of the action on the "to advance" line at +275.
The draw is as unappealing as it gets for bettors, who have only allocated 9% of the wagers and 5% of the handle on that play.
France are generating a minority of the moneyline tickets, with just 35% of the tickets and 58% of the handle coming in on Les Bleus, in addition to just 28% of the "to advance" tickets.
While Morocco have kept games under the total throughout the tournament, bettors are also liking the value they can get on the over, which is priced at +110. Of all tickets, 72% have come on the over, along with 58% of the handle.
As you would imagine — particularly after the performance from the great Lionel Messi yesterday — bettors are backing Kylian Mbappe to get on the scorer's sheet at some point. With a +125 price to score, Mbappe has totaled the second-most prop wagers.
Finally, the third-most bet prop is the "both teams to score" wager, which is priced at +125. This bet would have cashed in four of France's five fixtures thus far but in just one of Morocco's.
France and Morocco will kick off at 2 p.m. ET on FOX.
