Can anyone stop Liverpool on their path to the Premier League title? Ipswich Town will try, though they face a monumental challenge in their visit to Anfield on Saturday, January 25, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

It’s a classic David vs. Goliath clash. The Reds are the best team in Europe. Meanwhile, the Blues are in the relegation zone, with only one objective: to stay in the top division.

Here is my Liverpool vs. Ipswich Town prediction and Premier League odds for Saturday's match.

Liverpool Prediction

Arne Slot has adapted much faster than anyone could have imagined to the challenging task of replacing Jürgen Klopp as Liverpool's manager. In the Premier League, they sit first with a six-point lead and a game in hand over their closest challengers. They have scored the most goals and conceded the fewest.

In addition, Liverpool leads the Champions League group phase with a perfect record, a dominance they reinforced in last Tuesday’s win over French side Lille. This performance has even inspired fans to rename Anfield “Arne Field.”

It’s true the relentless schedule is taking a toll, but it’s also evident younger players and squad members with fewer minutes are stepping up when called upon.

Joe Gomez is unavailable, so Ibrahima Konaté or Jarell Amorin Quansah will likely start. Diogo Jota is still out, which could see Darwin Núñez return to the lineup. Núñez was the hero with his brace in the dramatic last-minute win over Brentford last Saturday. It is also likely that Luis Díaz will once again be used as a center forward, with Cody Gakpo and Salah as wingers.

The 6-0 home defeat to Manchester City was the latest blow for Kieran McKenna’s side. With only three wins in 22 matches, they are firmly in the relegation zone and must respond quickly to avoid returning to the Championship.

Liam Delap’s strong form is one of the few bright spots for Ipswich this season. The striker has scored eight of the Blues’ 20 goals, and his name already appears on the radar of several big clubs.

To give Delap more support, Ipswich made a bold move in the winter transfer market by signing Jaden Philogene for around $25 million from Aston Villa. The winger came off the bench in their last match and could make his first start against Liverpool.

Liverpool vs. Ipswich Prediction

One of the beautiful aspects of soccer is that an underdog can always pull off a surprise, though in this case, the possibility seems nearly nonexistent.

A dominant performance by the Reds is expected, with most of the action likely to occur in Ipswich's penalty area. Liverpool had 37 shots last Saturday against Brentford, while Ipswich are averaging just 7.5 shots per away game.

The Blues’ situation worsens when you consider Salah’s current form. The Egyptian forward, who leads the league in both goals and assists this season, seems unstoppable and will undoubtedly cause nightmares for Ipswich’s defenders.

With the moneyline at +1000 for a home victory, betting only on that outcome feels unappealing. The real question isn’t which team will win, but by how many goals Liverpool will triumph and how many Salah will score.

The best way to take advantage of this match is to combine three picks for a +120 SGP (DraftKings).

Liverpool vs. Ipswich Parlay Picks:

  • Liverpool ML (-1000)
  • Over 3.5 goals (-150)
  • Salah anytime scorer (-255)

Parlay Payout: +120 (DraftKings)
