As Pep Guardiola's Manchester City continues to go through an existential crisis, plenty of interesting opportunities arise. The Citizens have improved their form since the calendar changed to 2025, but are still far from the team they used to be — as their shocking loss to Nottingham Forest proved.

They find an interesting rival in Brighton, who had recently become the quintessential glass cannon. Per 1x2 Stats, Brighton has the Premier League's fourth-best attack on the road (24 goals). Still, they've only kept two clean sheets over their past eight games.

In a game that has historically produced high-octane results — the last game under two goals was in 2021 — I'm backing City to get the win, but not without some doubts along the way.

Pick: Manchester City to Win and Both Teams to Score

After beating Manchester City and bolstering its chances to earn a Champions League berth next season, Nottingham Forest has another task to complete: putting a stop to an absurd away losing streak.

Amid a fantastic season, this is possibly the only blemish. Forest has lost its past three games on the road, but this next match presents a much better chance to win as the host is the lowly Ipswich Town, which is sitting 18th with a 3-8-17 overall record and only one home win.

Nottingham has dominated the head-to-head, winning all three matchups in their Premier League history. Still, Forest has been this season's feel-good story and has reclaimed the club’s old glory days for younger fans. Manager Nuno Espírito Santo and his players must avoid surprises in this match to remain in third place.

The key is to keep overachieving. Forest is the leader in Expected Goals (xG) difference (45 goals from an xG of 35.96), with striker Chris Wood in the same spot among players (18 goals from 10.83 xG). So why change now? Back Forest to win and Wood to score.

Pick: Nottingham Forest Moneyline and Chris Wood Anytime Scorer

The upcoming match between Everton and West Ham is expected to be a low-scoring affair. The Betting Expert model projects just 2.17 goals, the lowest of the Matchday 29, and Everton has consistently been involved in low-scoring games, with their matches averaging 2.37 goals per match this season.

Similarly, West Ham has recorded the lowest goal average in the Premier League (1.7 goals per game), reinforcing the likelihood of a tight, defensive battle.

Historical data also supports this trend as seven of the past 10 meetings between these sides have ended with under 2.5 goals.

Everton’s recent struggles against West Ham at Goodison Park further indicate a challenging match, with the Toffees losing three of their past four encounters at home while scoring just two total goals. Given those factors, betting under 2.5 goals appears to be a solid option.

Pick: Under 2.5 Goals

Brentford vs. Bournemouth
