PSV Eindhoven and Girona face off Tuesday in the Champions League. Kickoff is set for 12:45 p.m. ET on Paramount+ from Philips Stadion in the Netherlands.
The Dutch side enters this fixture without a win through three games, picking up draws with Paris Saint-Germain and Sporting to go with a loss at Juventus.
Meanwhile, the Spanish side followed up two defeats to PSG and Feyenoord with the club’s first win in this competition over Slovan Bratislava a few weeks ago.
Here is my PSV Eindhoven vs. Girona prediction.

PSV Eindhoven vs. Girona Champions League Preview
When I look at this game, this is a Girona team that has had a big drop in quality compared to the club’s historic campaign last season. Once you add in the injury list, I can only look toward PSV in this spot, but I want a better price than the -143 odds on the moneyline.
With that said, my best bet is a Same-Game Parlay, pairing together a home win with the total flying over two goals at +130 odds at Bet365. I would bet this down to +110.
For starters, this is a must-win game for PSV if the club plans to make the next round of the competition. The Dutch side was given a difficult start of opponents, but this is one you have to have at home.
In the home defeat to Sporting, PSV posted a +1.3 xGDiff on 2.6 expected goals, according to fbref.com. I believe there should be more chances in this one against Girona’s poor defense.
The Spanish side gave up a combined 4.0 xG to PSG and Feyenoord. This included giving up three goals to PSV’s rival.
Meanwhile, this is the same team that hasn’t played well on the road in La Liga this season. Girona has a 3-0 loss at Atlético Madrid to go with defeats to Valencia and Las Palmas.
In case you were wondering, that was Valencia’s only win this season. Las Palmas only had one other victory, which was, ironically Valencia.
The other issue with the visitors here is the lengthy list of absentees. If you add the summer departures with injuries for this game, Girona is missing 53 goals and 34 assists from last season.
Give me the home team to pick up a much-needed win and pile on some goals in the process.
