The 258th edition of El Clásico kicks off on Saturday when Real Madrid and Barcelona meet at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
The visitors travel to the capital with a three-point lead over their rivals at the top of the La Liga standings.
Meanwhile, Los Blancos have won the last four meetings against the Catalan club in all competitions.
This is one of the best soccer derbies in the world, and I believe we will get goals to match the pregame excitement of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Here is my best bet and prediction for Real Madrid vs. Barcelona.

Real Madrid Preview
All of the headlines in the summer were about the arrival of Kylian Mbappé to Madrid. The French star has gotten off to a quick start at his new club, but his attacking partner Vinícius Júnior is not ready to pass the crown.
Coming into this match, the two are tied with eight goals each in all competitions. However, the Brazilian has three more assists as the duo has played a direct role in 23 goals this season.
Vini was terrific midweek in the dramatic comeback against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. His second-half hat trick helped Madrid overcome a two-goal deficit to win 5-2.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti’s team has only dropped points on the road this season. Regardless of the opponent, he will like his chances of getting a result at home.
Barcelona Preview
Unlike the veteran Ancelotti, Hansi Flick will get his first taste of this rivalry in his debut campaign in Spain. The former Bayern Munich manager is already getting the best out of his attacking talent.
Look no further than how well Robert Lewandowski is playing in front of goal. The Poland striker already has 15 goals on the campaign.
Meanwhile, it also helps when you have the winger duo of Raphinha and Lamine Yamal in fine form. The two have combined for 14 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.
With multiple key defensive players out injured, Flick’s side will need to continue to outscore opponents, which is something that should excite fans.
Real Madrid vs. Barcelona Prediction
Targeting both teams to score and the over 2.5 goals has been an autoplay for me in this derby in recent years. Unfortunately, the bookmakers have caught onto this to price us out of this play, which leads me into the prop market.
So, my best bet is for Lamine Yamal to score or assist anytime at +150 via bet365. I would bet this down to +120.
I talked about how well the Spanish winger has played this season, which has made this a profitable bet. In his 13 games for Barcelona this season, this same play would have cashed in 10 of them.
He should like his chances of doing so here against a Madrid defense missing key players Dani Carvajal and David Alaba. Los Blancos will also be without Thibaut Courtois in the net.
The recent results also point to this fixture having goals. In the last 27 La Liga meetings, both teams have scored in 21 of those, while only four league games finished with two goals or less.
Meanwhile, the same can be said in cup matches. Since 2021, this rivalry has happened in five cup fixtures, and those games averaged 3.6 goals and both teams scored in four of them.
When you combine the great chance for goals with an attacker on form, I like the chances of Yamal to get a goal or assist in El Clásico.
Pick: Lamine Yamal to Score or Assist (+150 via bet365)
