Pund: This has normally been a place where I give out La Liga overs, but I have my eyes on two sides this weekend. The first is fading a Cádiz team that has been terrible on the road.
Away from home this season, the Andalusian club holds a -8.2 xGDiff and has allowed 3.8 big scoring chances per 90 minutes, according to fbref.com. Only Elche have worse marks in the Spanish top flight.
Meanwhile, Getafe only own a -1.1 xGDiff at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez, but this is actually impressive for how difficult of a schedule the team has had.
The Azulones have played Atlético Madrid, Villarreal, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid and Athletic Club all at home. In the one match against lesser competition in Real Valladolid, Getafe won the xG battle 2.8-1.6 and created three big scoring chances.
If you are looking for a better price, you could likely pair a home victory with the total falling under 4.5 or 3.5 goals, but I’m going to keep it simple with this plus-money price.
Pick: Getafe ML (+110)

Hennion: Don’t look now, but this Forest side might actually be improving defensively.
Just in its previous five fixtures, manager Steve Cooper’s side has surrendered only 1.54 expected goals on target (xGOT) per 90 minutes. That’s down from a season-long average of 1.90 xGOT against per 90 minutes.
Further, in two home fixtures against Liverpool and Aston Villa, Forest conceded only one and 0.36 xGOT, respectively.
Cooper’s side goes up against a Brentford side that – for whatever reason – can’t seem to generate meaningful chances away from home. Through six road fixtures this season, the Bees have created only 6.55 xGOT and 15 big scoring chances, per fotmob.com.
At the same time, manager Thomas Frank’s defense has come up rather unlucky in those road fixtures. As it stands, Brentford have conceded 15 goals against 10.93 xGOT away from home. Plus, in a lone road fixture against Bournemouth – the closest comparison to Nottingham Forest – Brentford conceded only seven shots, none of which found the target.
I personally have this under in pocket at -115, but would bet it up to -130.
Pick:Under 2.5 (-130)
