Manchester United and Tottenham are heading for their worst-ever Premier League season —and their hopes of turning things around go from slim to none. Desperately needing points to climb out of the bottom half of the standings, these two English giants face off in North London.
Both sides come into this match with managers under heavy scrutiny due to poor results and several key players sidelined by injury. However, rather than diminishing the game's significance, these factors add intrigue to the showdown at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which kicks off at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Here is my Tottenham vs. Manchester United prediction and EPL odds for today's match.

Tottenham Prediction
Getting knocked out of two competitions in a span of four days is a negative mark few teams can claim. Unfortunately for Tottenham, they now belong to that list —eliminated from the EFL Cup semifinals by Liverpool and from the FA Cup by Aston Villa in back-to-back defeats.
If there’s anything positive Ange Postecoglou’s team can take away from this, it's that they can now preserve energy for the Europa League —where they’ve reached the Round of 16— and the Premier League, where they currently sit 14th. Their most recent match in the EPL saw them snap an eight-game winless streak with a much-needed away victory over Brentford.
Amid the negative atmosphere, there’s some good news: key players have recovered from injury. James Maddison —a vital playmaker— left-back Destiny Udogie and goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario are all available for selection.
However, the injury list is still concerning. Cuti Romero, Micky van de Ven, Radu Dragusin, Dominic Solanke and Richarlison remain sidelined for this game. Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner have returned to training, but their availability is still uncertain.

Manchester United Prediction
United’s nightmare shows no signs of ending. Every season, their fans dream of reliving past glory, and every year —since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure in 2013— they are left with a team lacking identity and ambition.
The three and a half months under Rúben Amorim have only accelerated their downward spiral, and at this point, no one knows how much worse things could get. They remain in the lower half of the Premier League table, though they are still alive in both the Europa League and FA Cup, a trophy they won last season.
The injury to Amad Diallo, their best player at the moment, is a massive blow. This week, it was confirmed the winger will miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury. To make matters worse, Marcus Rashford and Antony are no longer available to fill the gap, as both were loaned out during the last transfer window.
Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are also out. As a result, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro are likely to return to action despite losing their previously undisputed starting roles. Meanwhile, several academy players have been called up.

Tottenham vs. Manchester United Pick
Despite all the criticism, it’s unlikely that Postecoglou or Amorim will change their tactical approach. Both managers have proven to be committed to their systems, even if the results are far from ideal.
A good indicator of how this match might unfold comes from their most recent meetings. In late September, Tottenham crushed United 3-0 at Old Trafford in the Premier League, and in December, they won again —this time 4-3 in a thrilling League Cup clash at home.
When analyzing which team has been hit harder by injuries, all signs point to United. Diallo is irreplaceable, and his absence leaves them with even fewer options in an attack that was already under scrutiny due to Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee's poor form.
For all these reasons, Tottenham heads into this clash as the stronger side, especially at home. And with Solanke and Richarlison unavailable, Son Heung-min has a great opportunity to be the one finding the back of the net.
Tottenham vs. Manchester United Picks:
- Tottenham Moneyline (+125)
- Son Anytime Goalscorer (+185)
