Novak Djokovic will make his 32nd appearance in a Grand Slam final when he steps on Centre Court this Sunday to face Nick Kyrgios at Wimbledon.
He's been successful in a majority of his previous 31 appearances, with 20 wins and 11 losses.
This is a different sort of challenge for the Serbian, however, as he faces a man who didn't have to play a semifinal match after Rafael Nadal pulled out with an abdominal injury.
Kyrgios is not only coming in with more rest, but he also had the leg up on Djokovic in their two previous clashes. He's yet to lose a set to Djokovic, winning in Indian Wells and Acapulco in 2017.
On the other hand, Djokovic has the advantage of experience. This will be Kyrgios' first-ever appearance in a Grand Slam Final.
Djokovic is a -400 favorite in the match, while Kyrgios is +310, according to FanDuel.
Let's take a look at how Djokovic has fared in Grand Slam finals prior to this one.
Wimbledon
This will be Djokovic's seventh Wimbledon final appearance. He's gone 6-1 in those matches.
Djokovic has been the underdog in the final just once – against Nadal in 2011 – when he won his first Wimbledon title. He lost as a -165 favorite to Andy Murray back in 2013.
