We're set to to continue the second round of Wimbledon on Tuesday from the All England Club, and after a loaded slate of matches to pick from on Monday the decisions don't get any easier here.
I'll be looking to back one of the more in-form players on grass at a somewhat shocking price and fade an injured Brit who will be up against another player who's peaking at the right time.
Here are my Tuesday Wimbledon predictions for Hijikata – Cobolli and Evans – Tabilo.

Flavio Cobolli (+100) vs Rinky Hijikata (-125)
9:30 a.m. ET
Getting his career started in Australia, Rinky Hijikata has had the benefit of slightly more grass experience than most. And, not only does he possess an excellent play style for the surface with his groundstrokes and slicing, but those tools have translated to plenty of wins on the turf.
Hijikata is working on a winning grass season for a third year in a row, and now he stands at 19-13 on the surface across all levels for his career. He took out some tough customers en route to the Queen's Club quarters where he'd fall in close fashion to Sebastian Korda, moving past Arthur Rinderknech in qualifying before topping Frances Tiafoe and Matteo Arnaldi. Last season, he made the semifinals of Hertogenbosch as well, and now he'll look to put this form to the ultimate test in his first-ever Wimbledon.
Flavio Cobolli will also be making his Wimbledon debut here, but the expectations have to be curbed a bit given he's just 2-5 on the surface in the last three seasons. He's primarily been a clay-court player for his career, and while he has plenty of talent he's just 22 and lacks the general experience that Hijikata has.
The Italian has looked the part of someone getting acclimated to a new surface with just two wins on grass in five tries this summer, and he's got just a handful of Grand Slam matches to draw from. The Aussie, meanwhile, made the fourth round of the US Open last year and followed that up with an inspired five-set loss to Jan-Lennard Struff in Australia this year, a player who went on to become one of the hottest in the world in the next few months.
I trust Hijikata a whole lot more here, and I'm surprised we're getting him at a great price like this.
Pick: Hijikata ML(-125 via DraftKings)
Dan Evans (+185) vs Alejandro Tabilo (-235)
11 a.m. ET
If you're familiar with my work and the players I like to back, you'd probably assume I've picked out a Dan Evans match so I could once again back the Brit as an underdog.
Well, that's not the case, and with a heavy heart I will be fading Evans on Tuesday. The reason is quite simple, and it comes in two parts. For starters, Evans is injured, and the man on the other side of the net just took home a title on the grass a few days ago.
Evans suffered what looked to be a pretty severe knee injury at Queen's Club just a week and half ago with his knee going the wrong direction. From the scenes on court and what he said after the match, it appeared he wouldn't be able to play Wimbledon, but to play in his home country it appears Evans will duke it out and try to come away with a win.
I don't expect him to look 100% here, and even though Tabilo may have some fitness concerns after a long week leading up to Wimbledon, it's hard to say that would prevent him from winning this match decisively over an injured Evans. He plays short points on this surface and uses his big power to great success and has now compiled enough wins to rise to No. 19 in the world with a 5-1 record on the grass this season.
This guy is far more than just a clay specialist, and he's finally shown that over the last two seasons. I expect a big match from him here on Tuesday.
Pick: Tabilo -3.5 games (-115)
