The XFL rolls into Week 6.

Our betting analyst, John LanFranca, is eyeing two games as we head into the home stretch of the season: Seattle Sea Dragons vs. Orlando Guardians and San Antonio Brahmas vs. Arlington Renegades. The latter is a rematch from last week, which resulted in a two-point Arlington victory.

John LanFranca: This may be my strongest position of the XFL season thus far.

Seattle's offense, led by quarterback Ben DiNucci, is second in the league in yards per pass attempt and has allowed the second-fewest sacks. The Sea Dragons are all but guaranteed to score 24-plus points against a putrid Guardians defense.

Orlando's defense has surrendered 30-plus points in every game but one this season. The big-play ability of the Sea Dragons will undoubtedly make them pay.

The real key here though is that there are signs of life for Orlando on offense. The Paxton Lynch experiment is officially over as the team has moved on to Quinten Dormady under center.

While Dormady has only thrown 43 passes, he ranks first in yards per attempt (9.3). The offensive spark was enough to send Orlando's game with the Vipers last week way over the total and I expect a similar result on Saturday.

John LanFranca: I am going back to the well once again with the Brahmas against the Renegades.

Sure, Arlington squeaked out a two-point victory over San Antonio in an ugly affair last week, but it was a combination of turnovers and a mid-game quarterback change due to injury that kept the Renegades in it.

These are clearly the two most inept offenses in the league, as the posted total of 32.5 is the lowest we have seen in this XFL season. Catching three points is actually quite a bit of value for a team that was favored by three at most sportsbooks just a week ago.

The Brahmas have thrown for twice as many touchdown passes while the Renegades aerial attack has a team passer rating of 63.0 (per Football Outsiders). I will take my chances fading the fraudulent 3-2 record of the Renegades.
