Week 7 USFL Picks

Reggie Corbin Over 55.5 Rush Yards

Corbin has established himself as one of the top backs in the USFL, but being part of a three-way committee has capped his upside. But with Stevie Scott ruled out, this will be the week for Corbin to operate as a true workhorse back. I'm projecting him for 20 carries and 90.5 rushing yards.

This is my favorite prop of Week 7.

Confidence Rating: 10 out of 10

Devin Ross Under 38.5 Rec Yards

Devin Ross has been heating up, posting receiving lines of 5/68/0 and 7/67/1 over his past two games. However, the Panthers decided to release QB Shea Patterson (their No. 1 overall pick), so will turn to Paxton Lynch and Josh Love under center this week. That will slow down the passing game’s momentum that built over the past couple weeks, presenting an excellent "sell-high" opportunity on Ross.

I'm projecting him closer to 27.5 receiving yards this week.

Confidence Rating: 8 out of 10

Jonathan Adams Over 7.5 Fantasy Points

Adams is coming off a dud performance in which he caught only two passes for 16 yards last week.

The 26-16 win over the Maulers was misleading because the game was never close. Pittsburgh scored 13 points in the fourth quarter to make the final score somewhat respectable, but the Breakers needed to attempt only 23 passes to put the Maulers away.

It's the perfect buy-low opportunity on arguably the USFL's top wideout. I'm projecting Adams closer to 10 PrizePicks points.

Confidence Rating: 7 out of 10

Isaiah Zuber Over 35.5 Rec Yards

I consider Isaiah Zuber and Jonathan Adams to be the top two wideouts in the USFL, so I love that we are getting buy-low opportunities on both of their overs this week.

Zuber managed to post only a 2/33/0 line last week against the Generals. This week, he should bounce back against the Stars in what could be a sneaky shootout. The game total of 44.5 is the highest in the USFL this week. I'm projecting him closer to 45.5 receiving yards.

Confidence Rating: 7 out of 10

Derrick Dillon Under 9.5 Fantasy Points

The Bandits typically use a 5-6 wide receiver rotation, making it difficult to project any single WR for a significant target share.

I'm projecting Dillon for eight fantasy points and see more paths to a floor game this week than usual:

  • He ended up on the injury report (listed as questionable) due to a wrist injury. There's a chance it will limit his playing time and/or make him less effective.
  • If Dillon fails to score a TD this week, the odds of him clearing this number are pretty slim. The Bandits have the third-lowest team total this week, and as a result, their TD odds are lower. I'm projecting him with just a 20-25% chance to score.

Confidence Rating: 6 out of 10
