The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game is here, featuring a battle between the USA women's team and the Team WNBA All-Stars, as Team USA sets its sights on Paris and the Summer Games — and we're here right alongside the festivities with our WNBA All-Star Game best bets and picks for Saturday night.
After an exciting night on Friday with the 3-Point Contest and the Skills Challenge, both won by Team WNBA member Allisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream, Saturday promises to be an exciting event for bettors and WNBA fans alike.
The USA squad is the favorite in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game odds, with the current WNBA All-Star point spread at 6.5 points at DraftKings. The total is set at 190 or 190.5, depending on the book, and Team WNBA is a +215 underdog to pull off the upset.
Four players from the Las Vegas Aces are on the USA All-Star team, which could be an advantage for that squad. Team USA's roster consists of Napheesa Collier, Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Brittney Griner, Sabrina Ionescu, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, Alyssa Thomas, A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young. The talent and experience of the USA roster, boasting seven of the league's top 10 scorers, is unmatched, even for a star-studded group like the WNBA All-Stars.
Team WNBA's roster includes DeWanna Bonner, Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark, Allisha Gray, Dearica Hamby, Brionna Jones, Jonquel Jones, Kayla McBride, Kelsey Mitchell, Arike Ogunbowale, Nneka Ogwumike and Angel Reese.
The WNBA All-Star Game is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, live from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday night. Let's get to our WNBA All-Star picks!

Under 190.5
Play to 190
I really only want plus odds bets. But this is one that I like enough at -115, or even better if you can find it.
The reality is, this is an exhibition, but one with more pride than a typical East versus West game.
There has only been one All-Star Game since 2007 where neither team broke 100 points, and that was the only other Team USA versus Team WNBA Game, which finished 93-85 in 2021, won by the W All-Stars.
That total landed at 178.
I think we'll have more points Saturday, as it's the natural progression of the actual All-Stars competing, but I do think this is "low scoring" for an exhibition game. It's a true warm-up for Team USA, after all.

Angel Reese Under 13.5 points

The WNBA All-Star Game takes place Saturday night, with Team USA facing off against the WNBA All-Stars, a collection of the top talent in the league not headed off to Paris later this month.
If you listened to the Buckets podcast, you know I am liking the under in this game, with the 2021 game providing a potential parallel for this one, as it was the last time the game had this format, and the final score was 93-85, as Bryan points out above.
As such, I'll also be looking for individual player unders for this game, especially players who I think won't get many field goal attempts, or might not see many minutes. Based on lingering injuries for Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, those two would be my likely favorite unders, but since we don't have those lines yet, I'll give the nod to Reese, whose game has impressed me to no end in her rookie season, but just doesn't translate to the ASG.
For even more from our Buckets podcast crew, check out our WNBA Picks & Odds: All-Star Game Predictions!
Reese lives by the basket and racks up second-chance points with hustle and effort. Even if these players are going a bit harder in this Team USA-WNBA All-Stars format, hounding the offensive glass is not really the vibe in this type of game.
I also just don't think Reese is going to get a ton of minutes in general, as she is certainly among the lower tier of talent on this team (even though, again, she has proven my hater takes on her coming into the draft VERY wrong).
I'd play this under on anything in double-digits, though this cap is much more feel than statistically-based, of course.
Pick: Angel Reese Under 13.5 Points | Play to 10.5
Arike Ogunbowale to Score 20+ Points
Two reasons I like this.
One — the only other time we got WNBA All-Stars vs. Team USA was in 2021. The MVP of that game was Arike Ogunbowale, who had 26 points for Team WNBA, and made 5-of-10 from 3.
Reason No. 2, I'd bet Ogunbowale — the biggest snub from Team USA — will be in a revenge spot from a betting perspective.
She pulled her name out of consideration for the team, as told to Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson on "Nightcap."
"When it comes to [the Olympic trials], it really doesn't have much to do with your game.. It's really about who they feel like fits with the team. So, I actually took my name out the pool months ago. That's not saying I didn't think maybe last year I would be on the team, and I was good enough to make the team. But when the list came out, I knew I would not be that one."
I expect her to have another big game here.
