Aces vs. Wings
I'm back on this.
The Dallas Wings have a tough matchup at home against the Las Vegas Aces.
This number for Arike Ogunbowale is a couple of points higher than I think it should be given the context. She's gone under in three straight after putting up four straight overs to start the season.
Yes, she might be "due," but last year, she never got more than 21 points against the Aces in seven tries (outside of one playoff game, which was a 24-point outing that took 22 shot attempts).
Ogunbowale is great, I absolutely love her game and she's been one of the best guards in the league practically since walking in the door. But given her recent play and the matchup, this should really be like 21.5, and therefore, and it's under for me.
Pick: Arike Ogunbowale Under 23.5 Points
Lynx vs. Sparks
By Maltman
Minnesota has been awesome this season. It has the third-best net rating and the second-best defense.
Kayla McBride has had a resurgence and is shooting the lights out, and Napheesa Collier has been dominant and an MVP candidate. Everything is clicking for this team. They're 6-2, but 7-1 against the spread, as books keep on underestimating the Lynx.
The Sparks, meanwhile, are struggling. They're 0-3-1 against the spread at home and are really missing Nneka Ogwumike. They're one of the worst teams in the WNBA, and I think Collier has the size to handle Dearica Hamby, the Sparks' best player.
I'm betting .25u on the Lynx -7.5 at Caesars at -105, and I would bet it down to -115.
