Bryan Fonseca's Storm vs. Sun Best Bet
The Sun have two back to backs this year.
The first half total in that first back to back was after an overtime contest against the Mystics where they played the Atlanta Dream and led 33-31 at halftime before losing. That was in late June.
Just last week, the Sun led at halftime in another back to back, this time against the New York Liberty, 40-38 – the slightest of overs by comparison.
All those games tipped at 7 or 7:30.
The Sun beat the Mystics 96-85 yesterday in DC. Today, they tip off at 1 p.m. ET in Connecticut, making this an even quicker turnaround. And the Storm just played late the night before, losing to the Liberty late Friday night at home, and have since traveled East.
We're going first half under here and what could be a lower-scoring game than expected, especially with the Sun defense at home even in this spot.
Pick: First Half Under 77.5 (-110)
Joe Dellera's Fever vs. Wings Best Bet
By Joe Dellera
Clark gets a matchup against the Dallas Wings who she absolutely torched back in July for 24 points, 19 assists, and six rebounds. Dallas plays at the third-fastest pace in the WNBA with an atrocious 110.1 Defensive Rating.
Clark has been dynamic this season and has improved as time has gone on. She’s averaging 38.7 points + rebounds + assists over her last 10 games and has exceeded 34.5 PRA in seven of her last 10.
I’ll grab her to exceed 34.5 PRA today, and would be fine at 35.5.
Pick: Caitlin Clark Over 34.5 PTS+REB+AST (-115)
Jim Turvey's Fever vs. Wings Best Bet
By Jim Turvey
Sunday's matchup between the Indiana Fever and Dallas Wings should be almost comically high scoring. The Wings and Fever are both top five offenses by points per game, but more importantly they are both bottom-three defenses by points allowed per game. The total has already taken money, and if you're looking for props in this matchup, overs are mostly the way to go.
My favorite of those player prop overs is Kelsey Mitchell points.
The Fever have been a whole new team after the break, with a 5-1 record and the third-best net rating over that time (+9.3). Mitchell has been a large part of that success. The two-time All-Star is averaging 25.2 points per game over those six games, having cleared this 20.5 line in all six games.
While some of that jump in scoring (16.9 points per game before the break) has come from an unsustainable shooting jump, that's more than covered by this matchup against the Wings. They have been a historically bad defense this year, and a team that constant overs against have been a fun play.
I would play this to -140, or over 21.5 at -115.
Pick: Kelsey Mitchell Over 20.5 Points (-115)
Bryan Fonseca's Fever vs. Wings Best Bet
If this is a game of Trap or Trend, normally I'd lean the former. Kelsey Mitchell has scored 20 or more in six straight, her longest streak as a pro. So yes, she should go under at some point — but I don't think it will be today.
The Fever just happen to be playing against, statistically, the league's worst defense in Dallas. Additionally, Dallas could be one of four teams who miss out on the playoffs.
Mitchell has been excellent these last six games as the Fever have surged to third in the Eastern Conference, and she has a great matchup tonight against Dallas to keep this going. It's that simple for me.
Pick: Kelsey Mitchell 20+ Points (-130)
Joe Dellera's Fever vs. Wings Best Bet

One last prop from this Fever vs Wings game.
Boston has excelled in this matchup, scoring 28 in the one game this year but 18, 27, and 13 in the three last season as well. She has abused the Wings in the paint and racked up 20 of her 28 points in the painted area back in July.
Dallas has no real way to slow her down, and they’ve been highly susceptible to strong interior scoring threats.
This is also a strong buy-low spot after extremely tough matchups against the Sky, Sun, Lynx, and Storm out of the break, with the only overs being 14-point outings against the Mercury and Dream.
I’ll back Boston to excel in this spot and will sprinkle (0.1 units) on 20+ points at +425 (DraftKings).
