Lynx vs. Liberty
By Joe Dellera
The Liberty lost Game 1 in shocking fashion, and now Game 2 becomes even more important to at the very least tie up this series 1-1.
In the Finals, when a home favorite lost the previous game as a home favorite they are 8-0 SU and 7-0-1 ATS. In Game 2, they are 5-0 SU, 4-0-1 ATS.
The Liberty dominated on the glass but were dramatically outpaced from an efficiency standpoint. I can see those numbers regulating. I’ll back the Liberty to bounce back and send this series to Minnesota all tied up.
Pick: Liberty -7.5 (-110)
Lynx vs. Liberty
I know this is heavily juiced, but Leonie Fiebich has cleared this line in six of seven playoff games, and she just made five threes.
Because the Liberty shot 21-for-57 from two-point range, they desperately needed Fiebich's shooting and will continue to need it moving forward.
This team needs to spread the Lynx's elite defense out, and while driving lanes will be hard to come by, three-point opportunities should be there for Fiebich, who has become a staple for the championship favorites — at least they were before Game 1…
Pick: Leonie Fiebich Over 1.5 Made Threes (-155)
Lynx vs. Liberty
By Joe Dellera
Fiebich is getting RUN during the playoffs. She has hit 2+ three-pointers in 6-of-7 playoff games, and just banged in 5-of-9 in Game 1 of this series on 38 minutes.
The Lynx appear comfortable surrendering those looks to her, as they continue to collapse on Stewie and on Sabrina.
She’s hit this in 60% of her last 20 games playing 25+ minutes, and with her switch-ability and sharpshooting I don’t see any reason why she’d see a reduction in minutes.
Pick: Leonie Fiebich Over 1.5 Made Threes (-155)
Lynx vs. Liberty
Despite losing the opening matchup of this series, the Liberty still managed to cover the first quarter spread in Game 1, as they led by a score of 32-19 heading into the second quarter before getting outscored 76-61 the rest of the way.
The Lynx have been a great second quarter team this postseason, so I'll take my chances with the isolated first quarter line.
The Liberty can't afford to start slow, and while I like them to win the game, I trust them to jump out to a strong start over anything else.
