Only one game is on Tuesday’s WNBA slate, but luckily, it features A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young, Kelsey Plum, Arike Ogunbowale and Satou Sabally.
Additionally, we can expect an extremely high-scoring game, particularly from the Las Vegas Aces.
Below, we’ve constructed a same game WNBA parlay for Tuesday, August 27, featuring Wilson and the Aces. Take a look!
WNBA Same-Game Parlay for Tuesday, August 27
- Las Vegas Aces Over 92.5 Points (-125)
- Las Vegas Aces Moneyline (-395)
- A’ja Wilson Over 26.5 Points (-105)
Parlay Odds: +198 on DraftKings
A'ja Wilson Over 26.5 Points (-105)
All hail the WNBA's two-time MVP and champion, Wilson.
Wilson is first in the WNBA in points, rebounds and blocks per game, and she's third in steals. She also sits eighth in shooting percentage, which is astounding considering the seven players in front of her have just a fraction of Wilson’s field goal attempts.
Further, Wilson has scored 27 points or more in both of the team’s two matchups against Dallas, finishing with 36 and 28 points.
Interestingly, the Wings’ defense has worsened since the last time these teams faced off, allowing their past seven opponents to shoot roughly 5% higher than their first 22.
Wilson should have an even easier time putting up big numbers on Dallas than before. And it was already effortless.
Side Note:
Additionally, consider adding the under on Wilson’s assists into the parlay when those odds drop on DraftKings; she's only logged two assists in both games against Dallas.
The Wings aren't the type of opponent that can force Wilson to get her teammates involved with tough interior defense. They rank last in opponent points in the paint, allowing five more per game than the next closest team.
Aces Over 92.5 Points (-125) & Aces ML (-395)
It almost doesn’t seem possible that the Dallas Wings could be playing defense this poorly, yet here we are.
The Wings have allowed opponents to reach 100+ points in four of their past eight games. During that stretch, their opponents have scored 97 points on 50.1% shooting from the field and 37.1% from behind the arc.
If you think that’s poor, their defensive rating in the last eight outings is a league-worst 116.9. For context, the next worst defensive team in the WNBA is the Chicago Sky; their defensive rating is 106.8, which is still atrociously poor compared to teams in the league’s top half.
It gets even more convincing. The Aces rank first in the W in points per game and field goal percentage; they're also first in free-throw percentage and third in 3-point percentage.
Lastly, in both games these two teams played this season, the Aces went over this line (92.5), finishing with 95 points in one game and 104 in the other.
Barring a season-worst shooting night or the Wings having an unexpected awakening on defense, the Aces should score 93 or more points for a third consecutive time against Dallas.
