And there you have it. Following seven straight unsuccessful postseason campaigns — including consecutive World Series runner-up finishes in 2017 and 2018 — the Dodgers are 2020 World Series champions.

It wasn't too much of a surprise considering LA was favored to win the Fall Classic for just about the entire season, including an opening price of +350.

And speaking of opening prices, that's right around where LA finds itself heading into 2021, followed by a fairly significant gap. Let's take a look.

Only two other clubs land inside the 10-1 mark: the Yankees (unsurprisingly), and the Padres, who outperformed expectations in 2020 in a major way. San Diego finished with the third-best record in baseball, but were unfortunately overshadowed by their division rivals in the process.

This year's runners-up, the Rays, find themselves right at that 10-1 mark for 2021, tied with the Twins as the fourth-likeliest champions.

As for how the rest of the odds board is laid out, seven more teams come in front of the 20-1 line, which is where things start to creep up pretty a steep hill.

You can find easily find the best odds for each team as they're rolled out this offseason by making use of our MLB futures tool.
