It was a doozy of a trade deadline with a flurry of moves over a four-day span that culminated with a busy Tuesday.

Let's take a look at notables deals that went down, rumors that swirled along the way and the latest World Series odds.

Dodgers Land Flaherty

The 2024 MLB Trade Deadline ended with a bang! Jack Flaherty was considered the crown jewel of the deadline after turning his career around on a one-year deal with the Tigers. Well, he's now headed to the World Series favorites as the Dodgers landed the pitcher mere minutes before the deadline.

Cardinals Swap Carlson for Reliever

Dylan Carlson never quite lived up to the hype in St. Louis and struggled to find consistent at-bats this season. Now, he's heading to Tampa Bay after the Cardinals dealt him for a reliever.

Crochet Sticks with the Sox

Garrett Crochet was expected to command a massive package for the rebuilding White Sox. Instead, he's staying put after threatening to sit out the postseason unless he received a contract extension. Whether he's dealt this offseason or extended into the future will be a big question for Chicago over the winter. No matter what, he's established himself as a true ace.

Orioles Deal for Eloy

Eloy Jimenez goes from playing completely meaningless games for potentially the worst team in MLB history to meaningful games for the American League favorites as the White Sox sent him to Baltimore. He's predominantly been a DH the past two years in what's been an injury riddled career.

Pittsburgh Make Last Minute Additions

The Pirates are surprisingly in the mix for a wild-card berth and made a couple additions a half hour before the deadline. They first acquired outfielder Bryan De La Cruz from the Marlins before getting super utility man Isiah Kiner-Falefa from the Blue Jays.

Padres Pay Major Price to Get Prized Reliever Scott

Miami closer Tanner Scott was considered the top reliever on the market, and the always wheeling-and-dealing Padres pulled off a deal to bring him to San Diego. They paid a steep price, though, parting with their number two, four and five prospects, according to MLB Pipeline.

Mets Add Starter

The Mets desperately needed a new starting pitcher after Kodai Senga's brutal, season-ending injury. He's hardly an equal replacement, but New York pulled off a deal with the A's for Paul Blackburn to slot in at the back of their rotation.

Cobb to Cleveland

He hasn't pitched this year due to an assortment of injuries, but that didn't stop the Guardians from acquiring Alex Cobb.  The veteran's apparently fared well during recent rehab stints, and Cleveland clearly felt comfortable shipping a pair of prospects to the Giants to bolster the rotation.

Diamondbacks Ring the Bell

The bad news? Arizona lost star first baseman Christian Walker to an oblique injury Monday. The good news? At least he went down before the deadline as the reigning National League champs were able to acquire Josh Bell from the Marlins. It didn't cost much, either, as they acquired him for cash considerations.

Orioles Use Stacked Farm to Land Rodgers

The Orioles dealt a package — highlighted by Connor Norby — to Miami in exchange for Trevor Rogers.  He's hardly a dominant arm, but the fact that it took a highly ranked prospect to land him says a lot about this year's market. Norby was Baltimore's number five prospect, according to MLB Pipeline.

Bronx Bombers Bolster Bullpen

It's no secret the Yankees were looking to bolster their bullpen, and they did just that, acquiring Mark Leiter Jr. from the Cubs. It's not the big news New York fans were hoping for, but its helpful nonetheless.

Braves Getting the Band Back Together

Two key members of the Braves' 2021 championship team are returning to Atlanta, including World Series MVP Jorge Soler. The Giants shipped Soler, as well as Luke Jackson, to the Braves as they look to earn a wild-card spot spite despite an injury-plagued season.

Montas Moves to Brew Crew

The Reds and Brewers pulled off a NL Central deal as Cincinnati sent Frankie Montas to Milwaukee. It's been a difficult season for a Reds team that had playoff aspirations. Meanwhile, Milwaukee gets a bonafide starter to help secure the NL Central.

Bucs Get Beeks

The Pirates are surprisingly in playoff contention and looking to make the postseason for the first time in nine years. They added an arm to help their playoff push and acquired one of the Rockies' top relievers in Jalen Beeks.

Dodger Déjà Vu

The Dodgers have acquired infielder Amed Rosario for the second straight year, and he figures to play the same exact role this year — a platoon infielder who'll see most of his at-bats against lefties. It's the second straight season Los Angeles dealt a pitcher to acquire Rosario after it sent Noah Syndergaard to the Guardians a year ago.

Houston No Longer Has a Problem

Houston's rotation has been gutted by injuries this season, which is a major reason why the Astros got off to a dreadful start. They've rebounded, though, and were tied with the Mariners atop the AL West heading into the deadline. Now, they've added Yusei Kikuchi into the mix, acquiring him from a Blue Jays team in full selloff mode. However, according to several pundits, the Astros paid a steep price to fix their starting rotation problem.

Guardians Get Righty Pop

A Guardians team looking to hold off the Twins in the AL Central needed to upgrade their league-average offense. They did just that 24 hours ahead of the deadline, acquiring a righty bat with pop in Washington's Lane Thomas.

Turner to Seattle

Justin Turner was on "hug watch" after he was pulled from the second inning of the Blue Jays game against the Orioles. Word broke just minutes later that the veteran was heading to Seattle for a minor leaguer. The Mariners are desperate to improve their inept offense and previously dealt for Randy Arozarena.

Dodgers, Cardinals, White Sox Pull off Three-Team Deal

Erick Fedde was one of the prized starting pitchers on the market, and the Cardinals ended up landing him in a three-team deal. The White Sox dealt him and Tommy Pham to St. Louis while the Dodgers received the veteran utility man they craved in Tommy Edman. Those names are just the tip of the iceberg in what turned out to be a complicated deal involving up to 10 players.

Pirates, Red Sox Swap Former First-Round Picks.

In a deal that would have made headlines a few years back when they were highly regarded prospects, the Pirates and Red Sox swapped former first-round picks hoping a change of scenario would do each some good.

Royals Get Starter from Rangers

The Royals are in the wild-card hunt and occupy the third and final spot. They needed to beef up their rotation to help reach the postseason for the first time since 2015, and did just that by acquiring Michael Lorenzen from the Rangers.

Cubs Ship Morel for Paredes

Up is down and down is up as the Cubs — perennial sellers in recent years — traded a package headlined by Christopher Morel to the Rays — perennial buyers in recent years — for Isaac Paredes. The expectations were that Paredes would be dealt to a playoff contender, but instead he heads to the Windy City for Morel and a pair of prospects.

It's worth noting, though, that the newest Cub is under contract until 2027, which is why some aren't ready to declare Chicago buyers quite yet. Chicago is also +30000 to win the World Series at the moment.

Padres Mortgage Part of Future for Reliever

San Diego's always looking to deal, and it did just that Sunday, shipping out three of its top-12 prospects to Tampa Bay for reliever Jason Adam.

When Will White Sox Deal?

The White Sox might set the all-time record for the most losses in a single season. They're clearly in sell off mode and, despite boasting a putrid record, have several coveted pieces. Erick Fedde is almost assuredly on the move, while Garrett Crochet and Luis Robert might be as well. The latter figure to bring back a pretty penny.

Winker Big Apple Bound

The Mets are the hottest team in all of baseball. They went from surefire sellers into buyers after a sizzling hot two month span that's led them into Wild Card position. They were reportedly targeting a left-handed hitter, relievers as well as a starter following Kodai Senga's season-ending injury.  They filled one of those needs late Saturday night, acquiring left-handed outfielder Jesse Winker from the Nationals for a low-end prospect.

Philly Adds Closer Carlos

Carlos Estevez has been a solid closer the last two years for the Angels. The Phillies, though, have rolled through several options without much success.  That might change now that Estevez is heading to the City of Brotherly Love. He arrives with a a 2.38 ERA and 20 saves on the year, and goes from a bottom dweller (+100000) to a World Series contender (+500) in the blink of an eye. It was a potentially steep price to pay for Philly's future as they gave up a pair of highly regarded pitching prospects.

Fish Deal Jazz to Free Falling Yanks

The biggest deal to date has gone down as the Yankees landed the coveted Jazz Chisholm from the Marlins for three prospects. The Bronx Bombers desperately need hitting as it's basically been a two-man show with Juan Soto and Aaron Judge.

Orioles Add Eflin to Rotation

Baltimore's rotation has been bitten by the injury bug, leading them to acquire Zach Eflin from the Rays.  Eflin had a strong 2023 campaign, but hasn't quite matched those numbers.  Nonetheless, he provides an upgrade which is why the Orioles sent three low level prospects to Tampa Bay to get him.

Randy Looks to Rescue Mariners

The Seattle Mariners lineup has been an abomination, ranking among the worst in nearly all hitting categories.  Enter Randy Arozarena. The Rays shipped him to Seattle in exchange for several minor leaguers, and he automatically becomes one of the Mariners top hitters. Arozarena was extremely popular among Tampa Bay fans, and he caught a game with them in the stands before joining his new team.
