With less than a month until the start of the MLB regular season, the latest 2025 World Series odds from Kalshi show a clear favorite.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, by a wide margin, are the clear favorites. Their chances of becoming the first repeat champion in over 20 years stand at 24% — more than double the odds of their closest competitors.
Although this figure is down from last week’s peak of 30%, it still puts the Dodgers well ahead of the New York Yankees, who sit in second place with an 11% chance.
The Braves rank third (10%) and are followed by the Mets (8%), Orioles (6%) and Astros (6%).
The Dodgers have significantly bolstered their roster for the upcoming season. While they lost RHP Jack Flaherty to the Tigers, the additions of RHP Roki Sasaki, LHP Blake Snell, and the return of Shohei Ohtani in a two-way role more than make up for it.
Ohtani, who became the first player to join the exclusive 50/50 club with 54 home runs and 59 stolen bases in 2024, only served as a DH while recovering from elbow surgery. His expected return to the mound for the first time since August 2023 further boosts the Dodgers’ World Series odds.
