The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced their 26-man roster for their upcoming World Series matchup against the New York Yankees.
The Dodgers's top reliever, Evan Phillips, won't be on the World Series roster after he suffered an arm injury in Game 6 against the Mets. However, L.A. will have two arms returning. Brusdar Graterol and Alex Vesia are the two roster additions as far as pitching for the Dodgers.
Graterol pitched in just seven games between August and September after missing most of the season while rehabbing from a shoulder injury and then injuring his hamstring in his first game back. If he gets on the mound it would be his first game action in more than a month. Vesia missed the NLCS after he suffered an intercostal strain in the series against the Padres but is set to return.
