Diamondbacks infielder Ketel Marte was pulled after just one at-bat on Monday night.

The leader in the National League in bWAR — and NL MVP hopeful — had suffered a contusion on his left ankle in a game the day before. He reaggravated the injury again during his flyout in the bottom of the first inning.

So what happens to all Marte prop bets? How are wagers graded after he got pulled after barely playing?

If you wagered on his unders, you're fortunate. All major sportsbooks in the United States will grade your wager as a win because he started the game and logged a plate appearance.

If you had bet on his overs — of any kind (homers, hits, walks, etc.) — those wagers would be graded as losers. As aforementioned, every major American sportsbook will grade wagers as is if the player is in the starting lineup and registers a plate appearance.

FanDuel, in particular, is an anomaly here — all wagers are graded so long as the player makes a plate appearance. Be aware of betting on FanDuel before starting lineups are released. A player who registers a pinch hit — and logs only one plate appearance late in a game — will have all of his props graded normally, even if the pregame price implied he would play the entire game.

How Will Ketel Marte Wagers vs. Rockies on Monday Be Graded?

SportsbookGrade?Rules
FanDuelOvers lose, unders winOne plate appearance
DraftKingsOvers lose, unders winStart + 1 plate appearance
BetMGMOvers lose, unders winStart + 1 plate appearance
CaesarsOvers lose, unders winStart + 1 plate appearance
ESPN BETOvers lose, unders winStart + 1 plate appearance

Some sportsbooks may end up gifting over bettors a void, but those instances are saved for rare occasions. This story will be updated if a sportsbook decides to void overs on Marte's props. As of Tuesday morning, none have decided to go that route.
