Jim 'Mattress Mack' McIngvale, the Texas furniture mogul won $75 million when the Houston Astros won the World Series last year, said he would win more this time around if his boys from Houston repeat as champs.

Mack, who said he's not giving specific numbers this year because he wants to keep it a bit more private, admitted to the Action Network on Friday that he will "end up with more" than last year if the Astros win again.

So far, only $6.9 million of his wagers have been disclosed. That could yield him $43 million. In the last month alone, he has bet $5 million on the Astros, catching the team at 11-1 odds just two weeks ago as they had a shot to miss the playoffs altogether.

But the Astros won the division and then beat the MinnesotaTwins in four games in the ALDS. They take on the Texas Rangers Sunday night in Game 1 of the ALCS as -148 series favorites for the right to go to the World Series. McIngvale told the CBS affiliate in Dallas Fort Worth Friday he was picking the Astros to win in six games. (FanDuel has that exact outcome listed at +440 ahead of the series.)

The 'Stros are now the favorites to win it all at BetMGM (+190), DraftKings, FanDuel (+185), Caesars (+180) and BetRivers (+175). They are second on the board (+220) behind the Philadelphia Phillies (+200) at Bet365.

Mattress Mack has the same promotion at his Gallery Furniture stores that he has had in years past: customers who purchase at least a $3,000 mattress will get it for free if the Astros win the World Series.

His $75 million win was the largest win in sports gambling history, but since the beginning of 2023, McIngvale has lost at least $6 million through his own personal wagers. He lost $3 million betting on TCU vs. Georgia in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, $2 million on the Cowboys to beat the 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round and $1.2 million on the Kentucky Derby.
