Brewers vs Cardinals Prediction, Betting Analysis
The Cardinals have looked much better at home (9-4) than on the road (2-10) this season.
Brewers starting pitcher Quinn Priester is nowhere near a quality Major League arm. So, I like the heart of the order bats for the Cardinals in this matchup — Lars Nootbaar is having a solid season, Nolan Arenado can still muscle up at times, Brendan Donovan ranks fifth in the league in hits, and Willson Contreras has looked much better at the plate over the past two weeks.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals have their ace on the mound in Sonny Gray, who has looked like his usual self to start the 2025 season.
Following a one-run win over Milwaukee on Friday, I think the Cardinals begin a winning streak on Saturday.
Pick: Cardinals ML (-155, BetMGM)
