First Pitch | 2:10 p.m. ET |

On Wednesday, we travel to American Family Field to take the NRFI between two rivals as the Minnesota Twins face the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Milwaukee Brewers will send out the best NRFI pitcher in 2022: Corbin Burnes.
Burnes holds a league-leading 17-2 NRFI record with nine of those wins coming at home. His hot start in 2022 adds to an already-impressive NRFI resume: He boasts a stunning 48-9 NRFI record since 2020.
When facing batters for the first time through the order, Burnes has limited opponents to a lousy .153 batting average.
Here is how Burnes has fared in past matchups against current Twins hitters:
- Luis Arraez: 1-for-5
- Byron Buxton: 1-for-5
- Jorge Polanco: 0-for-5
The Minnesota Twins will counter with starting pitcher Chris Archer.
The veteran enters Wednesday's matchup with a very respectable NRFI record of 13-3, with seven of those wins coming on the road. When facing hitters for the first time through the order, Archer has limited opponents to a .173 batting average.
Brewers leadoff hitter Willy Adames is 3-for-21 in his last seven days, suitable for a .143 average. Archer's best matchup is against the Brewers' best hitter — Christian Yelich, who is 2-for-14 against Archer in his career.
The month of July has not been friendly to the Brewers in the first inning. In 77 first-inning plate appearances, Milwaukee has only managed 13 hits. That translates to a team batting average of .188, which ranks 25th in MLB.
Bet on Corbin Burnes to remain the best NRFI pitcher in baseball, and Chris Archer to continue in 2022 NRFI success by picking up NRFI win no. 14 today. Take the NRFI between the Twins and the Brewers.
As always, six outs to glory…
