Freddy Peralta & Dylan Cease
Brewers vs. White Sox, 2:10 p.m. ET
Today's focus takes us to Guaranteed Rate Field, where we uncover promising value in a NRFI matchup between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago White Sox.
In the opening inning, the White Sox will entrust their ace, Dylan Cease, who in 2023 has a strong 19-5 NRFI record accompanied by a nearly flawless 11-1 home NRFI split. This elevates Cease's overall NRFI standing to an impressive 27-3 while pitching at home.
Historically, Cease has demonstrated his prowess against the Milwaukee Brewers hitters, holding Willy Adames to 0-2, Mark Canha to 0-2 and Carlos Santana to just 2-18.
Notably, today's advantage lies with Cease as the Milwaukee Brewers rank as the second-worst first-inning hitting team in baseball, with a mere .105 average across their last 24 plate appearances.
The Brewers, on the other hand, will deploy their young standout, Freddy Peralta. Peralta's NRFI record stands at 18-4 this season, further solidifying his impressive 30-9 NRFI performance since 2022.
Much of Peralta's NRFI success can be attributed to his exceptional batting order split. This season, Peralta has managed to stifle leadoff hitters, limiting them to just a .161 average and allowing only 10 hits in 62 at-bats.
Peralta has also demonstrated his prowess against White Sox hitters in the past, including Tim Anderson at 0-2, Eloy Jimenez at 0-1, Luis Robert at 0-2 and Yoan Moncada at 1-4.
This NRFI is priced at (-125) on Barstool Sportsbook and (-130) on DraftKings Sportsbook.
As always, six outs to glory…
